watching full match earlier on Leeds app.........Leeds had more than enough but the deciding factor was Lewin missing three excellent chances before Bournemouth took the lead.

so our attack fulcrum was blunt when it mattered......the first chance when being sent through on goal...... maybe came to early for Lewin but his next two chances against Petrovic were lame efforts also........
reality was their keeper came out on top each time thanks to his excellent reflexes & poor Lewin finishing.

Defending today when it mattered went amiss.... and their free kick was not wonderful either...... with a ridiculous wall set up with Aaronson lying down.... but the low struck ball went under our jumping feet regardless leaving Darlow slow to react...... as I assume his voice set up the wall like that to defend that type of shot as it was known their set pieces would be key stats wise........
whole point of that kind of wall with a lie down player is in stopping clever free kick takers from sliding that ball under the wall & catching a keeper off guard. 😳

Regardless not going to fault our overall game plan contribution performance as in fairness we out ran them and showed more bottle too when it mattered....... so physically a damn good performance as they are are a very fit team and came up north full of confidence.

I have always backed Farke but he got this one wrong. Players are not good enough to play like this. At least not yet. Ampadu showed that he is Premier League quality. The trio of stach, longstaff and ampadu are very good.
Hey Cherry - yep agreed. Farke is doing pretty well this season but reading the game as it progresses and what chances to make is doesn?t appear to be his strength.

His changes v Fulham were imho the wrong ones and we?ve seen similar before.

Next up Spurs which will be another interesting match up. Wasn?t sure before the season how Ampadu would go but he has certainly risen to the challenge and seems to give the whole team confidence.

Longstaff, Gudmunson and Stach have been huge signings for us.

Interestingly, in 2 full seasons with Farke, Leeds did not start season all that well. A similar scenario occurred when Farke managed Norwich. I am very hopeful we will get better as the season goes on.

You and me both - not least as Nuno is at Spam.

I?m enjoying having a very very good left back in the team too

They are getting better game by game, getting up into ?premiership? speed and fitness. Takes a few games imo, no problems or worries here! DF also my opinion is doing a fine job.

DCL is definitely showing more and more of what he can do. The runs he makes and the positions he gets into are really good. So long as he stays fit then it looks like he should score a few.

Not sure about this fitness level thing.
Last 15 minutes we are starting to lie down and retreat inviting pressure.
Wether it’s fitness or management decisions, I’m not sure.

As others have already noted, we surrendered the initiative, became ultra-passive and invited them to have possession and try to break us down- which they ultimately did. Another disappointment as it could have been better. I'm afraid it just reiterates that Farke isn't very good tactically when the chips are down. Shame that C-L missed 3 (almost) sitters but at least he got himself into some threatening positions.

Just a shame we had awful defending leaving two completely free at the back post for their equaliser, as much as I like bogle attacking he does go walkabouts alot
