  • Why Why?

Did the fat Greek guy sack Nuno (and appoint that other sulky Greek guy)?

Did the 49-ers Enterprises ever think Martin was "suitable" for Rangers?

Shame Nuno is now at Spam, suspect things will change after the break. Would have been a big upgrade on Farke.

As for Rangers, clearly the owners know what they are doing, NOT!

Some on here were suggesting Ange would be an upgrade lol? Nino failed at Spuds, and Forest fell off a cliff at end of last season, don?t see the upgrade thing, 5 of the teams we have played are in top 11, DF deserves his chance.

Very hard to prove a counter factual. Forest was the wrong move given the squad they have.

Spuds won a European trophy so he has that in the plus side. Would rather have Nuno though.

to easy in assessing a situation with clarity only after it has occurred..... also to easy into dismissing factors not always known or clear at the time also behind the scenes........

hindsight is inherently subjective...... where individuals beliefs stem from memory distortion and a desire for a known outcome which can then be retrospectively reinterpreted to fit the story........

i think Martin had previous of disagreements before his inevitable troubles......even though he possibly did not feel that way at the time.....
many people with experiences of him will also claim they could have predicted it......despite the complex and uncertain conditions that may have existed before events at his previous clubs.

was surprised at his Rangers appointment as there will be be lots of professionals who knew that such an outcome would be more inclined...... due to his strong vocal views and personal decision making...... so would know damn well that he was a higher risk catergory appointment for a unique club as Rangers.

a strange financial decision appointing him ...... in my eyes.

I also suspect Ange is one of those coaches who needs a full pre season. His time at Spuds needs to be caveated by the horrific injuries in the back 4 they suffered which meant Archie Gray was playing CB.

Nothing against Forest but glad they have a dodgy owner. Puts them in the mix for us to take points against them.

In a fight for survival every team that is struggling in the league is a chance for points come match time. We've paid our dues with crazy, or cheap/broke, owners. It's wonderful to have well funded and organized ownership group like we do.

Can't figure out the martin move. That's a head scratcher.

You won't be saying that when he transforms them by the end of the season. Sure make fun but will you be laughing when they find form and we are back in championship? I guess not. Haws Nuno won anything? Maybe that will put a stop to your unfair evaluations. As for the WTF now bring racism into this forum that's nice we have missed that. How you getting on with your Islamic neighbor's do you enjoy barbecues and pint off beer and stout?

Forest owner is Greek, Posta-whats-his-name is of greek descent, fact. Racist? Nah, Sizeist, yes (have you seen the size of the owner??).

As for other phobias, I know you have your views on muslims and as I don't live in Australia or have any experience of the place, you may have good cause for them. Here, despite tensions around immigrants using small boats and the way successive governments have tackled illegal immigration generally, we get along quite well considering, you shouldn't believe all you read on t'interweb. I'd suggest that its the jewish community who have most to fear right now, the attack on the Manchester synagogue isn't likely to be the last such "event".

As for transforming the team, if he takes until seasons end, it won't matter, Florists will be down by then.

                  Sizeist.... I like that

He can't help it if he's "big boned". it might also have something to do with the rather sizable amounts of food he consumes.

Another why, and we could’ve had Tom Jones.

He certainly transformed Spuds, tho winning a cup they were one of the favourites for was a part getting out of jail.
You seem quicker to put down DF, where as AP did absolutely nothing with a useful Spurs squad.
Yes Hopey he had some injuries but continued to play the same suicidal high line with inexperienced back 4 in league and only for 3 poor promoted teams would have been in a relegation battle, which is a ridiculous achievement . Similar to Martin who just got sacked, prefers to persevere with his principles rather than start with something suited to the squad he has available

Nothing to do with Farke (other than that I think had we swapped him for Nuno we'd be better off!). Prefer to have seen the back of DF but who would replace him now?

No comparison between Farke and Ange at this point in their careers as Ange has a lot of top tier trophies to his name.

Yes Ange is stubborn but so is Bielsa and I?d have him back in a heart beat.

It wasn?t just a few injuries at Spuds but at one point I think they had 10 out which any team would struggle with.

His appointment at Florist is odd as they do t really have a squad suited to his style and he needs time to get his methods across.
