This Saturday Burnley v Leeds and the rest of the games will be taking the knee.I though we had got rid of all this p.c bullschite.. FFS.They are even saying it might carry on all season. Thank phook I don't go on the games as I know what my reaction would be.. 🤨

Wish you (and some others) would take the trouble to actually LIVE here at least for a while. Ironically, I DO agree with much of what you say regarding the taking the knee etc. Not so sure about the "gated communities" comment, but then you wouldn't expect agreement on all counts would you?

However, I have no fear of having my collar felt by the plods, nor of being prosecuted for expressing opinions some may find disagreeable. You really should get your FACTS from those who know, rather than those who just want to make a name on the interweb.

Ok, first off, GB News is sh1te as an objective source of real news. Secondly, there s an old saying, "lies, damned lies and statistics'. I would have thought that you, like me, have greater faith in what you see and hear for yourself. I've watched as a beggar outside Lidl who spat at a security guard who intervened in an argume.t between him and a shopper get hauled off into a police van by 6 officers, good job well done say I. Thirdly, where I live is no better or worse than most of the UK. You might want to examine the contributions to world history made by those who (presumably) have a different ***ual orientation to yours (Alan Turing, helped break the German military codes during WWII and was instrumental in developing the first crude but revolutionary computers), committed suicide when is ***ual orientation was made public, Oscar Wilde, one of literatures giants, jailed for being homo***ual, there are many, many more.

Trump is not why the US or World is divided. Step back and assess the lazy statement. The US has been divided since the founding days. Jefferson and Adams hated each other and both were the leaders of their political schools of thought. We also fought a little war called the Civil war that killed or maimed over a Million American citizens. If you believe that war was because of Slavery you need to go back and brush up on it. It was fought over States rights vs Federal control. Slavery was the scapegoat that was created afterwards to sugar coat the issue. The US government won but the ongoing underlying conflict has raged on ever since and will likley never go away. The only thing that unites us is when a foreign power attacks us.

Many kids these days are not taught Civics, Government or History so the lack of integrity in reporting and journalism is not questioned or independently ascertained. It's treated like gospel It's sad that they have so little capability for independent thought or analysis.

The issue came to a boil last election when Trump won 90+% of all of the counties in the US as well as the majority of states. If it wasn't for large urban centers (that want to control how all of us live) he would have won all 50 states.

My guess is that the US isn't the only country in the world where centralized command and control is resisted.
