In light of our injuries and the need for an experienced forward would it be conceivable that someone like Uche Ikpeazu of St. Johnstone could maybe fit the bill. He has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave in this window. He has knocked back a new deal with the Saints

Hmmm. Not sure about him but you're right that we need a striker. Can only hope that there is a target already identified.

Perhaps if we took the 800k for Stamatelopoulos that's been talked about, then with that sort of money we'd likely find someone who knows when & how to shoot and score. He hasn't impressed yet.
Really hope he starts producing otherwise it's been a very expensive gamble which might dissuade the club from trying to bring in someone with enough instinct to actually get the job done.
