For an hour today we were outstanding. Elijah Just was superb and showed he can be a game winner for us, while Longelo was great going forward for the whole 90 minutes. Balmer, who has had his critics, slotted into our new style of play very well, other than one really bad pass. Slattery going off was a turning point as we lost dominance of the midfield, but while it was disappointing to draw after leading 3-0 I would have taken that if I’d been offered it ahead of the game. Great to watch our team playing as they did - could be a really good season.

Agreed. That was a wonderful first hour. I'm struggling to recall a better display of football from a Motherwell side. Let's hope they can keep it up.
