  • Motherwell lose again from a winning position

Motherwell failed to capitalise on a superb first half and paid the price in the second as Falkirk take the points. - more here..

It's very much time to keep calm and not panic but we need to sort the defence and start playing for something approaching 90 minutes asap.

And while you'd never expect us to challenge for the title, it's becoming more than a little frustrating to imagine how the table would look if we weren't throwing away two or three points almost every week.

IMO I am beginning to wonder if us losing points late in games is a fitness issue with the players. We seem more than capable of playing the way our manager wants us to play for 60/70 minutes then we start to drop deeper and deeper with little or no pressure on the opposition. We have dropped points late in games to Hearts, Celtic and Kilmarnock and Falkirk. Of the seven teams in the bottom of the league we are the only one without a negative goal difference. Only Hearts, Hibs and Dundee United have scored more goals than us.

No surprise that the KMI panel felt that Said's goal should have stood.

The majority (2:1) of the panel deemed the on-field decision (before VAR intervention)
to be correct. Two panel members felt the VAR intervention was incorrect and a goal
should have been awarded. One panel member felt VAR was correct to intervene and
the decision to disallow the goal and award a free-kick after review was correct.
