So apperently his agents have come back up to Newcastle today, to hold talks.

This seems to be coming from his side.

I still think the Barca story has legs personally but an interesting development.

If we get him tom play alongside Botman, that'd be some defence, tbf. He's not worth 70 mil, I'd argue, but he's a really good player.

I struggle to see what everybody see in this lad. Decent player yes, but thats as far as I go, from what I have seen.

I think there is younger and better options abroad.

I mean, he's only 24 - international experience and 100 plus games of premier league experience.

          That isn't bad.

The plane in question was actually a private jet with sunderlands latest signing and not Guehi reps

Scalvini's asking price is 50m Euros which is about 42million quid.

As much as Guehi would represent a far smaller risk in terms of English familiarity, Prem experience and yet another England International in the first team squad, the Money Palace are still trying to squeeze out of the deal is going to back fire.

If Eddie and the club are wise, which it looks like they are, they'll sit back and bide their time until Parish blinks and comes back to them with a more sensible valuations. However, with Liverpool apparently interested the Palace chancer is probably of the belief that he can whip up a bidding war.

Parish really is Poundland Daniel Levy.

Forest get Palace Europa League spot due to the owners who also have Lyon.

                  Have some of that Parish.

Scalvini has apperently said he's interested in a Toon move.

Apperently Toonali has been raving about Howe at the last Italy camp.

We should make Parish think we?re really keen, offer way over the top, then pull out at the last minute.

Bruno and Joelinton have each other. A mate for Isak, a mate for Tonali...makes sense.

yeah exactly man, Elanga's signing makes Isak's position at NUFC even more secure on a personal level for the player, not that he was anything less than happy.

Bringing in Scalvini would be a superb signing. I really like the lad. Guehi has been professional as the captain of Palace during our interest. Liverpool seem to have cooled their interest.

It certainly looks like Guehi's gonna stay and captain Palace in the Euro Conference, wind down his contract so he move to Barcelona for free.

They can't afford players so they, like Real Madrid are using their reputation to get players they want to run their contracts down and sign for free.

It's clear Eddie & The recruitment team moved on and hasn't bothered to contact Palace about things.

Who ever turns up as our CB recruit will be a huge upgrade, will be a brilliant talent with great potential who will develop under the excellent & unique training and development schedules of Eddie & the team.
