I must admit I was getting a bit concerned re the transfer situation but it seems things are starting to fall into place at last. If they can get Scalvini, Ekitiki, Trafford and one or two others the team lineup come the start of the season looks absolutely formidable, that's one hell of a front line. Exciting season on the way.

          I totally agree Canny!

When Eddie made the comments 'We have to move fast' he meant we have to act quickly during the window when a player becomes available on the market.

It didn't mean that we had to do all our transfer business on day one of the window opening.

Ekitike has just become available in the last week. Frankfurt prior to this week will have either not been in the office for the summer break, or they hadn't considered the possibly of selling Hugo.

What is clear is that, in 15 days the club have signed a 55million quid electric Right Winger, a critical position that needed to be upgraded.

          Job done.

Now on the verge of signing a world class talent to reinforce the Striker position.

Yet again the club are going to sign the absolute best in class player.

So when you hear some fan whining about the PiF not supporting Howe or the club, remind them that in 2 weeks the owners have sanctioned around 120million quid on two players.

Aye - horrible feeling it'll be well within my lifetime that it all goes completely capputt.

Lots of razz matazz but it makes me worry about which direction the game is going. It seemed very super league like to me.
haha RAZZAMATAZZ is correct. Explains the dog and pony show perfectly.

It's a dross competition which won't ever be something special. The Americans will get bored with 'Soccer' after the world cup. They just don't have the attention span and it's not a tradition for them.

Apparently the next once is slated for here in Qatar... You know what that means... Another winter tournament. So clubs will go missing for a month, could cripple their league and UCL chances. I'm sure UEFA will be furious at any disruptions to their schedule and could give clubs an Ultimatum, it's Champions League or the World Clown Championship.

We'll have to see which once they prefer, the money is about the same, UCL still have the prestige for the Euro teams.
