If I was EH I'd be telling players on the cosch home that they won't be starting in the following CL game if they produce tepid performances in the preceding premier league game.

Thats what this is. Lack of effort to take care of the bread and butter. We want to be top 5 to get back to the CL next season.

The attitude and lack of effort was shocking. If they were "saving tthemselves" for Wed then its absurdly short sighted. Play like that in the Prem and there's absolutely no chance of CL next season.
