  • Luke Edwards makes a very clear statement

I will repeat for the hard of hearing. Alexander Isak is not for sale this summer. Not to Liverpool. Not to Saudi Arabia. Not to anyone. No amount of fake news, fraudulent in the know chancers or selective quote using aggregator accounts will alter that stance from Newcastle

    Like him or loath him.

It's some what reassuring to hear a journo go against the gain and not stir the pot for likes and clicks.

I'm torn as far as Edwards is concerned.

He posts some really good stuff and I've listened to him at a couple of talk-ins and he comes across very well.

However, he'll post all sorts of shit-stirring bollocks just to get clicks and he also defended that fat mess Oliver Holt and defended Bruce.

He has no fucking idea whether we will sell Isak or not.

likewise he was public enemy No.1 when he was sh!t talking the Saudi Take over saying it was never gonna happen and that it was fantasy, impossible. The dude got a lot of hate and some insane death threats etc. Typical internet insanity.

In person he comes across as a good guy and with genuine affection for the club.

He knows what he's been told. What he's been told is dependent on who's telling him.

The Agent has one agenda, the club another.

It's clear that there are a handful of people at the club and the player that knows what is going on.

Alex probably doesn't even know for sure himself right now. I think we are all forgetting that there is a human in this whole thing.

The entire media machine goes into melt down, it's gonna be really unsettling on the lad.

I said it before. I've never seen the machine, the whole machine from top to bottom go after one of our players in such a manner. The levels of fear and desperation to get him out of Newcastle United is something we as Toon fans have never experienced before.

Geordies are an emotional bunch, we're gonna have to grow thicker skin going forward because this isn't gonna get any easier, as we get better and better players and move closer and closer to dominating the league and winning silverware the media fervour is only going to get worse.
