  • NUFC vs Brentford

Newcastle XI vs Brentford: Pope; Trippier, Thiaw, Botman, Burn; Guimaraes (C), Tonali, Joelinton; Murphy, Barnes; Woltemade

Subs: Ramsdale, Hall, Schar, Lascelles, Krafth, Elanga, Willock, Ramsey, Miley

    Just the one change.

We need to be more on the front foot than we have been away recently. Doing the same thing and hoping for something to work is patently not working.

Didn't realise Osula was injured. Not good.

Not suprised by this start. Joelinton coming off could be a blessing in disguise.

This is a performance that befits a team with 12 points from 10 games, let's be honest.

But I'll take that!! Thought the chance had gone. Great cross, great flick and fantastic work by Barnes.

                      Meh first half.
Still not on our game. Even Tonali looks flat.
                      Top finish from Barnes.

Need a big second half. HTL.

Not sure why Dan Burn was so tight-too easy to get turned and now they'll target him on a yellow.

                        Hall on, please?

Popes work in the box is horrible, as always.
