Apparently what Isak is asking for to stay!

He won?t get that anywhere, never mind Newcastle not meeting those demands.

Now the media can?t sell him to Liverpool, they are looking at other ways to get him out of the club 🙄

It is becoming an absolute circus from them.

      And this is the problem.

The cartel clubs can pay wages like that and their top players are getting those ridiculous amounts. Isak would walk into any team in Europe and will have people in his ear reminding him of what players at the 'top' clubs earn...and what he could/should be earning.

        These are unsubstantiated reports.

The people pushing it are the same people who are driving the whole narrative to get him out of the club in the first place.

In the modern era of insane salaries is he worth it? Yes.
Is he asking for it? We don't know.

We know there is an entire media machine designed, bought and paid for to maintain the status quo.

We know that the partisan hacks and affiliated former pros who infest the football media landscape are hellbent of spreading negative stories in an attempt to get the fan base to turn on the lad for being greedy to drive him out of the club or at least sow division and reek havoc on our big season ahead.

Whatever the number is, it is irrelevant. The only reason it is mentioned in the press is to cause more drama and instability at the club.

Don't let it wind you up.

          Precisely as you said Guy.

Laugh at it and congratulate the lad!

Good job if you can get it. haha

Agreed? rumours spread with less than good intentions.

I imagine we will end up with a new 5 year deal, 200k, and a release clause around 150m.

Thing is we need to link that price with how player prices are inflating if we can, in 3 years time that could be a lot less than it is today? probably wouldn?t happen, but should be CPI linked at least.

WE'll have to see what shakes out. I would assume any release clause would be specific to continental teams as we'd certainly not want to sell Isak to a Premier League team.

Aye its certainly around "market" value wages for a player of his stature.

The glitch in the Cartel matrix is that we can pay these wages if we were allowed to or to even bevallowed to increase our commercial revenue Chelsea style. All this noise tells me they are nervous abd in full cnt mode to destabilise us.

I hope our olayers hold firm and don't let their heads be turned.

Like someone else suggested I am amazed another PIF club hasn't signed him, for 200 mill, give him his 300 pw and loan him straight back. In fact do this with 6 of our players and sink the PSR bullcraap.

Just give him the money if that’s what he wants
How much are very average players on at Manchester United and city
For once do the deal and get it done
