Maybe Wisser will come and turn out to be an even better player, at least he wants to be here.

150m is the starting point to begin the conversation. The selling price depends on what the Bidders are prepared to pay.Originally posted by Guybrush View PostI would say his price has just gone up!!
If it?s a financial thing for him? get the Saudi money, ?250m should do it. If Chelsea can sell assets to themselves at inflated prices then so can we
If it?s for sporting achievements he wants. There is only one club where silverware is a guarantee - PSG
But what will they win next year? A below standard domestic league and trophy? That is still the only if he goes.
And even then ?250m to cross the Saudi - Qatari divide

My thoughts exactly, never going to happen but it would be nice to see him fade away into obscurity.

Felt this was coming.
I'd only sell to a non PL club, quickly and at top dollar.I couldn't bear to watch him and Ekitike for Liverpool at SJP.
Otherwise he sees out his deal or reserves if theres a problem with that. We take the financial hit
The ownership needs to be strong on this.
Wonder if Dwight Gayle is still fit for 90 minutes?

We hold all the cards here really.
Our chairman is going to be seething over this I would imagine.
I can also imagine him having said we're not selling Isak will mean we're not selling Isak so he doesn't lose face.
Maybe it'll be, we tell Isak he can leave next summer if our value is met but he's not going this so he can get on with the game or he can sulk.
In all of this though, it could be exploring options to put pressure on a new contract - although if this rumour ?300K demand is correct we won't meet that so . . .
****ing **** situation and I blame the bindippers completely. Utter ****ing ****s.

I still think there's more to this than Isak forcing a move. "He's open to exploring options" means he'll probably move, IF we can make it work for a club he wants to go to and we're willing to work with.
Example: The list of clubs - PSG, Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Al-Hilal, Barca.
We might not want to sell to Liverpool or Chelsea. He might not want to move to Saudi. Barca don't have the money right now. Madrid or PSG it is then. Something like that.
I don't think it'll happen but there is a small chance that he moves next summer if he's willing to go to someone like Barca but they don't have the funds right now.
We kind of hold all the cards but obviously don't want to have a toxic dressing room either.

I certainly didn't see this coming. A good chance he's been nobbled by his agent, I'd have thought. Agent probably creaming himself seeing dollar signs after all the press *******s about him leaving.
I wonder if he does really want to leave, though, or whether he's been persuaded to "pressure" the club into a massive salary increase. That would be a pretty huge miscalculation considering who our owners are.
Puts us in a really ****e position with the new season rapidly approaching - the idea of a strengthened squad with plenty of pre-season time to bed in seems a long, long time ago.

I agree, we should sell him,BUT,with a condition that it cannot be to a premier league club, see how he likes that! Madrid,Barca, PSG, Bayern, one of those but no way can he go to lpool or any of our rivals. Why would we sell to a rival!Originally posted by Nufcian View PostNo fire without this amount of smoke.
We should sell him, but refuse to do so unless he hands in a transfer request.
I agree with PSG, cash and Muani equalling 150m.
I?m really disappointed in Isak, never thought he was a mercenary but there you go,Eddie will be feeling very let down by him after what he?s done for him. Problem for us is getting a replacement with the time left, and actually finding a buyer for the snake. I wish him no success wherever he ends up, short memory that bloke!

Unfortunately for us and this whole saga, I think Howe will push it too. He won't want a player in the squad that doesn't want to be here. I'm still of the opinion that it shouldn't be to Liverpool and we need to bring in players first - I don't have a lot of faith in the club right now though.
