  • Why do we have to sell

He has got 3 years left on his contract
Let him sit on the bench for 3 years and see how he reacts
No games no training no mixing with the other players I think he will change his mind very quickly

Well, my indigenous Geordie Brethren, the club don't HAVE TO SELL .

I've stepped away from everything for the better part of this week, partially due to work obligations and because, even for me, someone who is unaffected by all the noise, I have to say, I've am astonished at the intensity of pressure from the media machine.

Today, I had a look back at it all. Muppets like O'Hara, Cundy etc on T-Sh!te, all the fan channels, including the Red Filth talking as thought it's a done deal to Liverpool.

One question I want to ask everyone. Isak - best striker in the world right?'

Where are all the bids? Where is Real Madrid, Barcelona, Munich? Where are 'We buy ANY PLAYER.COM' Chelsea, where is anyone? WHERE IS THE LIVERPOOL BID?

If the bindipping trash munching river rats Absolutely can afford him and it's a 'DONE DEAL' - where's the bid? Where's the money Liverpool?

I don't see clubs falling over themselves to sign him.

Furthermore, I've said this many times Sheikh Yasir has said 'NOT FOR SALE', when a man like him of his stature and influence makes a statement, it's his word as a man. In the Arabic world, he can not be seen to be wrong at all.

According to sources in Saudi, dunno if this is also reported in the UK, Sheikh Yasir has cleared his schedule and will bring a team to Newcastle to resolve all transfer issues.

That will included sitting with Isak and his agent and giving him more money for 1 more season as a minimum. It's clear to me that the problem was Mitchell. He didn't honour Amanda's offer of a new contract and also rebuffed talk back end of last season which, makes me think that the groin injury and Isak's disinterested performances at the back end of the season was really just him feeling disrespected and once again, lied to by Mitchell.

This whole thing could have been avoided. Eales and Mitchell ousted Amanda, have been an overall negative influence. Bunce & a few youngsters, that TBH Nichol probably had his eye on already are the only positives.

I would imagine that that would included a top negotiator from the PIF group, money will be on Escrow, ready to transact.

It really shouldn't have got to this, however, all is not lost. With or Without Alex, we will continue our march up the league to claim our place at the top of the table.

Why am I so confident about that? Because we have Eddie Howe. The man who turned a skinny Swedish kid from a player who only scored more than 10 goals once in his entire career to the most sort after striker on the planet. The man who turned Jacob Murphy from a Championship level wideman into a competitive Premier League Right Winger. The man who turned a striker who couldn't his a barn door with a banjo into a full Brazilian Internation Central Midfield destroyer.

The only thing that matters is that Eddie gets what he needs for next season. If Alex goes, we need a player to replace him and the additions on top of that to ensure we aren't hammered by injury as we were 2 seasons ago.

    Everything else is just noise.

I know what you are saying but doing that wouldn?t help Newcastle, better to sell and rebuild.how could he be reintegrated into the squad after a season being excluded, the fans wouldn?t have him in the team, squad, club.

That all sounds sensible but I wonder how the fans will respond to him if he stays. “ one greedy *******” I can hear now. Too much water has gone under the bridge for a U turn from Isak, let’s sell him,BUT must NOT be to a premier league club, that would be my condition. This might be the only time we will get that amount of money for him, I say grab it and SPEND, rebuild. My main concern is that we don’t have the recruitment team to do that, maybe that’s what Mitchell meant, not fit for purpose, they haven’t filled me with optimism so far!

As with all things, Eddie Howe will say the right things and ask the fans for their support.

Should he stay, score the winner against Villa and all this will be water under the bridge. Fans are fickle.

Well he's not greedy is he?

He's 26 this season. He's been told 2 seasons ago he was getting a new contract. Mitchell insulted him a didn't deliver on the clubs word. He is outrageously under paid for a player of his quality. 120,000 a week is a joke for a 20+ goal a striker, that's small club money.

The lad deserves to be in market value money, 225,000 - 250,000 a week. The squad won't be outraged at Isak earning 225,000 a week if he scores another 20+ goals, propels us to another cup win & a 2nd consecutive season in the Champions League.

He's not made a massive fuss. The media are making out like he's doing a Peter Odemwingie. Far from it.

He's assessing his options after being let down and insulted by the former DoF.

I understand it. I don't care either way if he stays or goes at this point. For cohesion, I'd prefer he stays as he knows they systems.

However, if he goes, the club will have 150m quid in the bank up front no drip fed payments.

I wouldn't be surprised if, when Sheikh Yasir & his team arrive in a week or so that we will bring in the replacement striker this season so the club are not held to ransom post-sale.

I think the thing that most of us are missing is the fact that we had ?150 + million to spend and have struggled to do it
so we get another ?150 million and still can’t get any players in and are told on the last day of the transfer window after selling Him it’s all good in the winter window we will have ?250 million to spend
Remember Andy Carroll and the fat slug

No, we canÂ’t do that, just because he gets paid a sh!t ton already doesnÂ’t mean we can do whatever we want.

ThatÂ’s basically discrimination and his agent/lawyer would be all over us if we treat him that differently.

Train with kids is the most we could legally get away with, and what does that actually do for us?

DoesnÂ’t matter how much PIF have, weÂ’re limited by PSR and thereÂ’s both financial and morale harm weÂ’d be self-inflicting with that approach.

We can’t make a stand and refuse to sell him for less than we value him, say £150m, this summer… and that’s the most likely in my opinion, but he’s a good player and we’d be daft to no use his talents while we are still paying him, and then hope a few more teams come in for him next summer early in the window when they know he will be available to buy, and start a bidding war.

I completely hear what you are saying man. From my point of view as a person who runs a business things we read in the press are so far away from the way business works.

Yes, Football is different, egos are involved. However, believe me when I say that I had a guys on my team lose us millions in business at the point of contract signing just by saying the wrong thing. The client is the client, football player, TV/Media company owner. Ego is ego.

What I'm getting at is that money hasn't been spent, aside from Elanga is basically due to the Executive structure is completely hollowed out. No CEO, No DoF. Both had checked out months ago.

That is at the Executives door. Jamie Reuben and the PiF really have to own it. It's on them to fix this situation that their in-action has caused.

One thing, the new CEO is looking closer to coming in, it looks like David Hopkinson. Very happy with that. What we need is consistency in the C-Suite. The transfer summit / plans put in place should be enacted during the course of the season. Eddie Howe's involvement should be the cheery on the cake, he shouldn't be in the kitchen baking every single cake. He's not a baker.

From what I've heard, as mentioned else where, Sheikh Yasir and a team from PIF are flying in to Newcastle to resolve the transfer issues. Cash in the room and deals can be done directly.

We are competing with the cartel of European clubs, the relationships they have with agents and the industry is light years ahead of us. We've missed out to clubs paying higher salaries. That's life, that's business, I eat sh!t on a daily basis, get blown out of the water 9 times out of 10 by the big boys in my industry. I work my ass off to keep contracts and project opportunities as quiet as possible simply but as soon as one of the major players comes in, I just can't compete with their economies of scale and pricing. I have very specific client profiles and projects I can sign and deliver.

When we win our first League title and several FA Cups then we'll be considered as a top tier club.

The Training ground is a major issue that also needs to be resolved. Top players need top facilities. We're miles away from that at the moment. Remember seeing Sandro's face as he was walking around the training ground. Not cool haha.

A lot needs to be sorted out.

We've all grumbled about the lack of new sponsors and commercial revenue coming into the club. Aside from the Saudi stuff, which basically sold itself, they have failde Eddie and the footballing side of the club.

This is what, from my perspective as a pure business, looking at the club through my eyes I've been massively underwhelmed by Eales, SilverStone and the people who are working on the Stadium/Training ground development.

Gibbs White just gone and signed a new contract with Forest - good to see media couldn?t force that move through.

Mind you, I have no doubt he has a new but higher release clause in that deal

Yeah I saw that. That is surely the blue print for the way Newcastle United have to use to ensure that we don't get pushed around by the Red Cartel member club with our star player.

                        Could be win win!

He can double his money with us for

Knows he is first name on team sheet in a WC season - and he is going to have to be to stay ahead of Gyokeres

With an early July release clause of 200m for Prem, 150m for others, 300m for Saudi 😆 he knows he can sign the contract and be gone next season if

He smashes next season for us, and gets those big clubs coming after him.

Should guarantee us a good season out of him, he fires us to Europe again and we get to cash in as well as him

Don?t even make it a secret release clause, let the world and their goldfish know 😆 None of this media *******s unsettling him all preseason, everybody know what is needed to get a deal done.

That would make complete sense. The club would take back control of the narrative and show that they aren't going to be pushed around by the cartel crooks.

It has to happen that way. If they cave and sell now it sends the message to the competition that our players are all on for grabs. Also, it says to the current playing squad that, with no update on the Stadium or training ground, the 'project' has lot direction, off the rails.

It's bizarre to me that after the season we've just finished, winning a trophy and once again making the Champions League, that we seem to be in a far far worse situation than at any time since the take over.

It's a cruel twist of events, mostly could have been avoided, that has lead us here.

One thing is for certain, with 3 weeks until the Premier League kicks off there is a hell of a lot of work to do to fic this mess.

Next season Barcelona, Bayern are gonna need a striker with Rob the Pole and Kane both being ancient. Possibly Real Madrid might want to bring in Isak.

He'll have far more interesting options from clubs with more prestige than the bindips.

So, the club should give him 250,000 quid a week on a new contract, say give us one more season of your best and we'll let you go to any European club you like.

Funny thing is, I don't see any interest at all from anyone other than Liverpool, that interest seems to be tenuous from the garbage eaters.

Where's the bid Skip rats? Where's the bid?

It's not coming because they don't have the money. Classic scouse fake designed label dole cheque lifestyle from the Mersey scum victims.

I get that he feels let down by the club, but Eddie hasn?t let him down, the opposite in fact but he?s stabbbing Eddie in the back, and the rest of his teammates and fans, he?s had one outstanding season for us and was very ordinary when he first arrived. He is where he is because of the manager and coaches, who is now betraying, he can do one for me.
