Exactly this. Fcuk him. If he wants out, the last thing we should do is reward him for his disloyalty. I agree that, in the current market, his wages should reflect his importance to us but, now that he's downed tools-which he has-we should be fining the greedy tw@t , not giving him more. !

      I've heard conflicting reports.

"The club" - whoever that is, there's no one there are in talks with the player but apparently it's not about a contract renewal.

However, there is a 200,000 offer on the table from before the end of the season, which doesn't make sense other wise we'd have had a flood of stories from the liars at Talk Sh!te etc saying he'd rejected a contract offer.

      or

There is a 200,000 open offer on the table. The player wants 300,000.

      or

There is a 200,000 open offer on the table, open to negotiation and still in play.

No doubt Eddie and the club have taken the kid from a ropey rough talent to the striker scored 20+ goals in 2 consecutive seasons.

From what Eddie said, he's been very candid, that they've had a conversation, he respects that Isak has been messed around by Mitchell with his contract. I think Eddie's decision not to be confrontational but to let Isak do what he needs to do and maintain the relationship.

I'm sure Isak has been seeing all the social media posts from the squad out in Singapore.

He's entitled to be P!ssed off. The club let him down.

However, as I'm posted some where else, Where are all the big clubs across Europe fighting it out for his signature?

Just Liverpool interested? Where's official bid?

They've just agreed a fee with Bayern for Diaz, only about 60m quid. Not enough to cover the cost of Isak.

Is the player 100% determined to leave? Where's the transfer request?
Wissa is showing you extremes a player can go to, as he's made it clear to the club he's downed tools.

We will have to see what comes from the intervention of Sheikh Yasir over the next week or so.

Transfer speculation ‘not easy’ for Alexander Isak – Eddie Howe
On Saturday, Howe said of the Isak debacle: “There’s things going on behind the scenes. He will be aware he’s in the news every day and I’m sure that’s not easy for anyone.

“Conversations that happen between Alex and the club or Alex and myself will stay private. We do share a really good relationship with him. He’s been magnificent for us since he’s joined. He’s very popular in the dressing room and we’d love him to continue his journey at Newcastle.

The Swedish goalscorer is the centre of a transfer storm and Eddie Howe has provided the latest on the situation as Liverpool spy a blockbuster deal.

That's all very well, Eddie, but most of us wouldn't like him to continue his journey with us, thank you very much.

I'd like him to fuck off.

Fab Romano is reporting 'the player has made the decision to leave the club this summer'.

So what. If Liverpool don't come up with 150m quid then he's going no where. Regardless of what he has decided.

I appreciate a lot of the fan base has turned but selling him to a Premier League rival is completely stupid.

The message that sends is appalling both to internally to the rest of the squad & the to the football world in general.

Said if a few times, it shows that the lad isn't as big as he thinks he is where there isn't a feeding frenzy for his signature.

The thought of any player of his importance to the club playing in a red shirt boils my blood.

I'd rather he goes to Chelsea. Ideally to Europe, PSG but not those unsufferable victim mentality, takeaway dumpster diving, day old donna meat feasting, car twoking dirty scouse rats.

                Oh, I totally agree, Raga.

The optics-not just outside of the club but, in particular, to our own players-look dreadful. It's basically turning round, dropping our trousers and bending down to Liverpool.

Unfortunately, we either do that and move fast and hard (ha ha...the idea) for a top-line replacement...or we keep a very unhappy player-who won't give us anywhere near his best-and sell to someone else in a year.

Let's face it-he's going to Liverpool, isn't he.

If the media are to be believed. Which they can not be, yes.

The facts remain that listening to Eddie's comments & the only statement from the club is 'Not for Sale' - As it stands, this might change later today (Monday 28th July).

No Bid has been made by the bindips. Until 150m or more up front offer is officially made to Newcastle United then the player is going no where.

                  The rest is just noise.
