  • How can this happen

Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Alexander Isak how can this happen he is our player with a contract so surely if Liverpool talk to him or his representatives then that must breach the rules of the premier league?

    ...exactly mate.

No official bid yet personal terms are allegedly accepted. How can this be?

I hope something legal is happening. If the boot was on the other foot you can bet it would be all over the news.

Don't get it can someone explain how this isn't a blatent tapping up?

Lads, remember who we're dealing with.

The rules the rest of us have to follow don't apply to the cartel.

I've made this comment in 3 or 4 of the other threads.

Newcastle United's stance is 'The player is not for sale'. Any approach is TAPPING UP.

The player wanting to 'explore his options' is contrary to his contractual obligations to Newcastle United.

It's contractual. Without doubt in his contract there are clauses that state he restricted from communicating with other club or agents acting on behalf of other clubs.

Employment law is quite clear. As a professional who hires and fires many players we have 'Non-Compete' clauses in all our contracts.

Before Covid, We were bidding on a major Broadcast System project with a larger System Integration (SI) partner & one of the guys we had brought in as a contractor was back dooring info to a competing bidder. The idiot was dumb enough to use the company email we'd set up for him. My IT guy caught it whilst doing some routine maintenance.

I informed our partner and we brought legal action against the competing bidder & the contractor. The competitor was forced to drop out of the bidding and the we sued the contractor for damages.

The guy hasn't worked since as far as I know. The guy he was passing information to was also fired.

We're in a completely different industry but I'm sure that the Player/Club contracts are far more stringent.

This is why I don't believe a single word the MSM liars say.

Officially and unofficially are two different worlds. Liverpool will be using an intermediary agent to communicate with Isak's agent. Plausible deniability. However, should NUFC decide to go Legal with regard to TAPPING UP. All intermediaries are implicated and communication devices are inspected.

Officially Liverpool and has only asked if Isak was available before they moved for Ekitike.
They were told 'NOT FOR SALE'

Unofficially Liverpool has leaked daily updates to all their Media cronies. Paid and sycophants alike.

Tapping up is clearly a concern as even Talk Sh!te Crookie and that chinless cuck Ben Jacobs confirm that 'Liverpool are waiting for encouragement from Newcastle United to proceed with a bid.' Crookie was nodding along when Simon Jordan confirmed that the Club have all the power regardless of what the player wants or doesn't want. He is contracted and thats that. He can be unhappy if he likes but the rest of the squad at Newcastle, being so harmonious won't let a moody sulk disrupt them.

The attitude of the player will not force a move. Sheikh Yasir will decide.

Eddie Howe in his South Korea press conference that 'We have received NO BIDS FROM ANY CLUBS for Isak.' Eddie also said 'The situation not completely in my control.' That means it's in the hands of the chairman. Isak is his favourite player. Any discussions between Chairman and player with his agent will be about how we keep Isak at the club.

He is in Newcastle Now and dealing directly on all matters around the club.

That is the fact of the matter. Liverpool know they have go off too see and too heavy handed.

Sheilh Yasir's/PIF's/The Saudi's Legal team in London are the most elite. If his excellency doesn't get what he wants you can bet that there will be legal action.

If you people think Maranakas' actions to retain Morgan Gibbs-White was strict and tough, you can image what the entire legal weight of the nation of Saudi Arabia will be.

Furthermore, if teams want to have any hope of selling their overpaid end of career hasbeen players to the Saudi Pro-league they will have to tread carefully. Arabic people hold a grudge. Once offended, the never and I mean NEVER do business with those people again.

I'm sure that this is more content for clicks than anything official from Liverpool. Although I'd sure they are using a third party to get the feelers out before bidding. Even of they do put a bid in, unless we've brought in a few strikers, it'll be a no from us, as reported from day 1.

NUFC hold all the cards. The player goes IF and when Newcastle United dictate.

If the lad does end up going.

I would wait until the last day of the window. 5 days after the dirty bin dipping dumpster diving garbage eating river rats come to SJP.

If he does a Judas, there is no way he can come back SJP in a red shirt for the first game of the season. There will be riots!

That's actually good point about selling to Saudi - You'd think they would be aware of it but might be interesting if that has to be pointed out to them.

Newcastle can throw Liverpool 'under the bus' with Alexander Isak 'tapping-up' claim

Looks like the Chronically poor publication has finally cottoned on to the potential tapping-up for Isak.

Some breaking. . . ish news:

Newcastle to consider taking legal action against Liverpool ❗️

Liverpool have had informal contact with Isak’s representatives, reportedly indicating interest and readiness to negotiate around ?120m.

However, those messages were received WITHOUT Newcastle’s prior consent—leading to accusations of tapping-up.

Newcastle believe Liverpool may have breached unwritten ethical boundaries by contacting Isak’s camp without formal consent.

As a result, legal advisors are reviewing the matter, with the club contemplating formal action or referral to regulatory bodies.

                    ---------

I would imagine this is the first salvo, we see how LiVARpool respond and then we threaten to sue same as Forest did.

As I've said repeatedly, you don't mess with the Saudis man. Sheikh Yasir will get his own way. Whatever he wants he gets. Legal action will be the best course to resolve this matter.

Get the river rats a nice transfer ban to boot. They can kiss good buy to the option of selling any of their player to the Saudi Pro League. No more cash cow for them

It?s quite simple, don?t sell to Liverpool. No one that?s has anything to with our club except for Isak want him to be sold to Liverpool. Yasir has supposedly said many times Isak is not for sale, I?ll guess we?ll see how powerful he is in the comming days.

The problem is, much as we have the power to tell Liverpool to fuck off, it makes things tricky in terms of a replacement because we'll have to pay full whack for an adequate replacement and that's before we replace Wilson AND get the CB we need and replace Longstaff,

Ramsdale coming has saved the 27 mil we were going to spend on Trafford although apparently we're paying a "hefty" loan fee.

I'd like to see us buy Wissa and Sesko along with the aforementioned replacements and keep Isak until the January window or even next summer when we'll be able to make that cash back.

The lanky shite can fight for his place or sulk at home-hie can't afford to spend a year sulking with the world cup coming up and knowing it'll affect who comes in for him.

I just think selling him to Liverpool this window is wrong on enough levels for us not to do it. My thinking on this has been all over the shop...so this is where I currently am.

We put 55m quid on the table for Guehi last summer and didn't spend.
We put 55m quid on the table for Joao Pedro this summer and didn't spend.
We put 69m quid on the table for Ekitike and didn't spend.

Money isn't the issue. We don't have to sell the player. We don't need the money. Getting the player who has shown his team mates such disrespect by doing things in this manner, is a bigger issue.

Eddie has proven he can develop players and make them the best version of themselves. Hopefully he can to the same with Ramsdale as that's looking more likely to happen.

Certainly we need to buy the 2 replacement strikers before Isak goes anywhere, IF he goes.

I'd sell Isak on the 30th of August so that he doesn't get to play against us on the 25th.
