Tough to watch, however, Eddie did make it clear in pre-match press conference that they lads have been training hard to get up to match fitness / sharpness. In the humidity and heat they were always gonna struggle.
The glaring issues are the same as last season, the drop off from the first 11 to the rest of the squad is stark. Really not good enough.
What I don't understand is, why we didn't bring in the recruitment consultant we used short team when Amanda took over, knowing full well that Mitchell was out the door before the window opened?
Eales again completely derelict of duty. Illness or not he should have done his job or gone on gardening leave because for 10 months we've had a CEO who's been completely checked out, leading to the current ****show.
Apparently Willock's injury is not as bad as it looked.
