  • Saudi League

I notice that other than Felix the Saudi clubs haven't bought anybody that can be considered our top 4 rivals this window (yet).

    Fluke or something in it?

Rag - any thoughts from the region?

    Yeah, connected to this.....

Another self entiltlement from the cartel is the idea that somehow Saudi will bail them out of their expensive flops. Reading things like Nunez to go for 80 plus million, etc etc.

We've seen it for years that somehow their league is to be seen as the bin for all the cartel's expensive craap

What is this assumed arrogance all about?

Be great if they stopped doing this.

Aye, they might need to pay the players over the top contract, but no need for the transfer fee to be inflated by them.

It?s not as if Saudi would have to persuade these clubs to sell Sancho, Antony, Nunez etc

The Initial splurge is over. The Saudi Pro League have a more targeted transfer policy these days.

They're not just spending but now are driving hard bargains.

What I've heard is that they are interested in Nunez but think he's only worth 40m quid.

Also the whole Isak thing has left a bad taste in the mouth for the Chairman. So he's not keep on signing cheques for a player from the club who have targeted & destabilising his favourite player.

They want value for money on the transfers no knowing that they are still offering the huge salaries.
