He is only 8 game away from becoming the Premier League all time record apperance holder.

    Great stat.

    What longevity on him.

    His debut was in 2002.

Just done a Google AI search on other players who made debuts in 2002 - albit it has intepreted most as WC debuts:

Roque Santa Cruz: The Paraguayan striker, who played in the 2002 World Cup and formerly starred for Bayern Munich and Blackburn Rovers, continues to play professionally for Libertad in Paraguay.

Junichi Inamoto: A veteran of the 2002 World Cup with Japan, he is currently playing for Nankatsu SC in the Japanese fifth tier.

Carlos Kameni: The Cameroonian goalkeeper, who was part of his nation's 2002 World Cup squad, is active with UE Santa Coloma in Andorra.

Bartholomew Ogbeche: After making his professional debut for PSG in the 2001?02 season, the Nigerian forward has had a long career in India and remains active.

Hope he manages it. Great achievement if he makes it.

No doubt he'll break the record. If you look at those other professionals. None of them are playing at the Elite level.

IMO, Milner's sale to Villa is still one of the most stupid pieces of business in Football and NUFC's history.

What did fatso get for him? 12m quid? With the lie that Schweinsteiger was coming in for 20m.

Glad those days are long behind us.
