  • PSR - doing a great job

If you're a member of the top 6.

    Doing exactly as intended.

The 6 biggest spenders this window. . . the cartel 6.

At this point it just feels and looks like a co-ordinated attack on Newcastle Utd.

Which I'm aware how it sounds.

Absolutely correct Jam, I have made this comment time and time again. However, PSR, once again is proven to be completely contrary to competition.

This could well lead to yet more lawsuits as it is clear that these rules are 'Unlawful' & anti-competitive.

    Let's see what happens.

This is going to be unpopular, but as someone living in North America, the salary cap system is much better in terms of raising the floor and lowering the ceiling. Cap the amount that teams can spend on wages and it'll be a huge equalizer. If anything, teams that are well run, then start to rise to the top.

The issue is that European labour laws will challenge salary caps and also it means that leagues like Saudi & the MLS could start become more competitive with the traditional European Leagues.

No Disrespect to all my American friend.

I'll be damned if the MLS starts to compete with the Premier League, Champions etc.

The day that happens the game is McDonalds not longer a sport and of absolutely zero interest with no competition or jeopardy.

        Sponsored by Pfizer hehehe

It'll be more half time show & they'll introduce time outs or split the halves into quarters just to jam in more ad breaks. T

The Day the USA give a damn about 'Soccer' is the day the sport dies a death at the hands of commercialism.

It's bad enough as it is now. However, the World Club Cup showed how tacky and far the sport can fall.

I don?t understand why the PIF join Man City and fight this, they have them resources to do it.

Is this not because they have generated more income worldwide, that they are allowed to spend more? And thus can attract better players? Or have I missed something?

Because the case is against city. Would you 'join' ya make John when he get's charged with something BS?

              Of course not.

APT-II we have any evidence that our commercial dealings have been hindered by the unlawful APT rule change, despite it being brought in as a direct consequence of our take over.

City's APT challenge was around an improved global sponsorship of the club from Etihad. From the rafters to Pep's boxer shorts. Also the First Abu Dhabi Bank also had their Sponsorship blocked.

The Prem stated that the Etihad deal was not fair market value, however there had never been a deal of this manner a deal of this manner every proposed. So there was no precedent by which to compare the market value.

The bank sponsor was clearly just anti-City and City clearly proved that the APT were unlawful in totality. However, Prem held a meeting to alter the APT to APT-II which City warned against. They told the Prem and the Cartel to take their time and no rush through more unlawful rules, otherwise they will once again take legal action, and win. Which they will.

How Newcastle United can support City, like Forest, and possibly Villa &/or Everton depending on what suits their own selfish needs is to vote against the cartel and block more corruption and controls.

In the future should Newcastle be directly affected by a rejection of a sponsor then the club will have a case to pursue.

Until then the best thing we can do is vote against the cartel and work with the other 'challenger' clubs to break the dominance.

When you pair that with SHYTE people dealing our transfers and selling our club, you end up with a weaker squad for every window.

Currently, this window is worse than the Anita one, all things considered.

I do feel bad for Elanga. The guy has ben given such a glowing report of the club and in the few short weeks since he arrived it's all gonna rather spectacularly awry.

How disappointed would you be with Isak as a countryman for the way he's behaving?

Especially after, they were no doubt chatted many times about the future of playing together.

I agree with all this. FIFA could bring it all under control as it has got so out of hand that it's filtering down to the lower leagues first, i.e. Wednesday.

Just think of all of those wages going to the tax man.

What poor soul couldn't manage on a £100,000 a week. Five million a year. How the clubs and supporters could move forward with that spare money.

Just imagine what those heroes earned and managed on in their ****s and early twenties.

It would revolutionise the game totally.
