  • NUFC vs Burnley

    Right then...here we go again.

Burnley have something like 4 injuries and 4 players missing because of Afcon. Anything but a win and the pressure is going to sky-rocket.

We need to play like we did in the first half against Chelsea-and this time, for the whole game. Do that and we'll win.

Play like we have done in so many away games this season and, even if it's essentially going to be their 'B' team (Alf will be able to confirm?), then who knows.

Howay, Eddie and the players, let's end the year reminding ourselves who we are.

we should be battering a depleted Burnley team.

You are right too Zip, a defeat tonight and it will be open season on Eddie.

We are absolutely brilliant when we play our relentless pressing game, like first half Chelsea.

This has 0-0 written all over it

secretly im going for a 3-1 win for us and the lads step up tonight

Same old yet again sadly Howe is another Benitez stubborn wont ever change his tactics, Tonight was the perfect chance to go for something different a 4 4 2 with Wissa and Woltemade up front together and Pope walking straight back into the startling line up is no shock either Ramsdale hasnt done much wrong yet one of the darlings comes straight back in.

                Dropped, I'd say.

Would like to see him with Woltermade just behind him but that would mean a change of formation...

Mind, I managed to agree to a curry tonight...so Dabbawal Jesmond then the Lonsdale for the second half.

Assuming the students aren't all watching fucking lacrosse, or something.

Good to see Wissa scoring again fingers crossed he stays fit and and can do the business for the second half of the season.
