  • Miley, Joelinton and Bruno

Miley the central midfielder, can play RB and now even CB! There is so much football within than boy, I'm so impressed with him.

Barnes, hes got a good nose for goal. Our best winger by far this season.

Bruno showed his class and fight. Leader and captain.

Joelinton, what can I say. What a player. What a fighter. Instrumental, once again.

Schar and Hall both played well. Really sad for Fab, that ankle didnt look good.

The rest was mediocre or dissapointing for me.

That was one hell of a match, Keagan-esque, on a night way news broke of the big man's illness.

Chaos is the tag line of many of the NUFC socials post match video. The lads that came on as subs looked like they'd decided to swimming in a rip tide during a tsunami.

At this point we have to start comparisons to Franz Beckenbauer for Young Miley. At 17, I saw shades of Gerrard when he broke onto the scene for Liverpool. Since then he's gone up levels. Levels on Gerrard... Insane to say. He should have had a goal from the Gordon Free Kick wide on the left. Millimetres in it.

Beckenbauer was a man who player the DMF, RB, CB & Sweeper to an elite level during his career, switching in games.

Miley dropped in to fill for Schar after the unnecessary challenge by DCL on the half way line, ball going out for a throw. No threat what so ever to the Leeds goal. Whilst I don't blame DCL for the challenge, I do level issue with the Ref. That man was appalling. He should have had better control over the game which would have meant that DCL wouldn't have thought he could go into that challenge so recklessly.

I think everyone on her knows my major issues with the PGMOL. I have been warning that their incompetence that players will be put at risk of serious injury. With a stone in the pit of my stomach thinking that this injury could mean that was Schar's last game in a B&W shirt. It's that serious!

    Barnes class, a finisher.
    Joelinton headed goal brilliant!

Woltemade was fouled out of the game all night. Ever time the ball went up to his he was being man handled, wrestled and dragged - ref gives nothing at all. It's ridiculous, the lad get's hammered every minute he's on the pitch with zero support from the ref. All the way back to the Cheat Gabriel Punching him in the back of head and VAR ignored it. Next season the lad is gonna be unplayable, a year older, wiser and stronger.

Hall - what to say about this young man? Class. Brilliant technician and it's clear he's a champion. He's a winner, he's got that determination and mean streak about him you see in all big time champions. Delighted he's one of our own.

Thiaw, had a howler. Very weird for the Leeds opener, he seemed to sit down, I dunno it it was the pitch as 4 or 5 of the lads and Pope all slipped last night which led to errors Leeds took advantage of.

Let's hope that Schar's injury isn't serious and we see him back in the team soon.

Credit to Leeds, that Aaronson lad was quality. Farke has them set up well. They'll be fine this season with a great base to kick on next year.

Glad to see a 'proper Northern football club' back in the Prem.

Big Joe on his way back to being his dominating self and Miley is such a good player...at his young age.

I wish all the best to Schar. VERY important player for us.

Big Joe played on the edge of his angry madness and when he plays like that, we play well.

Ref was ****ing awful - both sets of fans thought he was corrupt

I suspect Schar has played his last game for the club to sad way for him to end.

The ref was so bad he endangered Fabian Schar. DCL should have had his neck wound in in the first half. He was leaving too much on everyone. I've no issue with physical play but there is a limit and a line. DCL crossed that line on many occasions, didn't even see a card. On the half way line near the touch line, no need for him to go in on Schar like he did.

He know the ref wasn't gonna give anything.

I've been complaining about the unacceptably bad refereeing and warned a long time ago that it would lead to injuries and potentially damage careers.

Here we are. PGMOL no accountability, not word one from them on Schar's injury. Unacceptable.

Law suits are coming mark my words.

Keith Downie covers Newcastle United for Sky Sports and he reports that their information is that Schar has NOT broken his ankle.

The reporter saying that tests have shown there is no break.

However, the bad news is that Downie reports that Fabian Schar will still be out for an “extended period, with the severity of the damage to ligaments still unknown.”

You're not wrong on the lack of protection Rag.

We've been on wrong end of no ref protection, to many times this season.

The cynic in me would say it's deliberate.
