  • Harvey Barnes

    Having such a good season.

He's been incredibly patient given how he's been probably the biggest victim of our winger rotation but he's really stepping up now.

Just thought he needed a bit of appreciation.

Love Harvey! Brilliant player, massive output for us this season. Clearly our best winger at the moment.

Hes been magnificent this season - a bright light among average performances from many of our other players. I thought he was quite quiet till his goal yesterday although we did seem to concentrate our attacks down the left wing most of the game. Perhaps not surprising he scored when he swapped sides with the introduction of Elanga.
I liked him at Leicester and never understood the criticism here eventhough he can have spells of being quiet so, like any player, its all about consistency.

Always liked him, even when at Leicester - so pleased it was Barnes and not Maddison we went for.

Anyway, he may be the biggest victim of our winger rotation - but he?s come in to the team firing and with a point to prove - good on him

Goal scorer and assist making player.

Like all he's had some less than brilliant periods in a B&W shirt but there is a level of consistency to his game over. He's been a greater bonus to the team/squad and at the price the returns yielded excellent results.

            Long may it continue!

                  Aye he's been brilliant.

2nd highest CL scorer for us this season as well.

Not sure which English left wingers in the Prem is in better form this season and furthermore has out performed Harvey over the last 24months.

Gordon is probably the only LWF who has offered more.

Rashford I guess (As of January 2026, Marcus Rashford has had a significant impact at Barcelona, with reports showing 8 goals and 11 assists (19 goal contributions) in 29 games for the current 2025/2026 season, making him a leading player for the club in goals and assists, noted for his influential performances and playmaking abilities.)

However, I always saw Rashford as more of an Inside forward/striker.

Tuchell will be taking Kane as a striker. Who else? Kane, Rashford, Barnes and Gordon. Saka, Bowen. Not a bat attacking unit. Different profiles.

Squad for the World Cup is 26 players. Potentially as many as 7 Newcastle Players if Tommy T is smart.

                    GK - Pope
                    RB - Tino
                    CB - Burn
                    LB - Hall
                    CMF - Miley
                    RW -
                    LW - Gordon + Barnes
                    CF -

Defo see some of these clowns below being displaced should the manager pick players on Merit rather than reputation.
