  • Yellow Cards - Suspensions - CL

So with Malik Thaiw's yellow today, it means he is suspended for the next leg.

Hopefully not to much of an issue with a 5 goal lead but this is us.

You also have Burn and Big Joe on suspension watch, if they get a yellow they would miss first leg of last 16.

On that basis, I think I'd rest Burn if at all possible as we really do want him for that last 16 leg.

Hopefully Botman would be back, so would like to see Botman and Alex Murphy.

I know they are both left footers but I think it's important we have Burn for last 16.

Would like to see Leo Shahar get a run out to.

Yep-great chance to not only rest players but to give some of the less-heralded lads a run out.

      Agreed Zip.

I'd rather start a "weaker" team with big guns on bench if we need them, than start a strong team and swap around at ht, or in Eddie's case - the 60 min mark.

I'd like to see the youngsters get a start.

Shahar hasn't made a first team appearance yet, he's highly rated and I think this could be the game for him.

Sean Neave, on that sub appearance is absolutely ready to compete with a team of Qarabag's quality. At SJP with the Geordie faithful roaring him on, the Wallsend Boys Club graduate would relish the opportunity.

If I were him I'd be first in the training ground every morning sat outside the managers office and playing out of my skin in training. I'd be telling all the first team lads 'I'm starting at Home in the 2nd leg'.

        Shy bairns get nowt!

Alex Murphy should get a game at LB too. The lad has shown in sub appearances in the Prem he's certainly good enough to compete with Qarabag.
