  • Isak U Turn on the cards

some reports claiming Isak is willing to reintegrate with the squad and play again

if Liverpool directly tell him, theres no chance they can sign him this summer.

If this is true, it means his agent and victim fc have massively ****ed up.

I personally hope this is not true, i dont want him anywhere near the team,

he can rot in the reserves for all i care. Enjoy the run up the world cup in the under 21's son

    If that happens...

Isak Fittan needs to sack that agent.

Make a statement to the club, and fans explaining himself and apologising .

I'm open to him reintegrating for the sake of the season if the above happens but if not, or something close then he stays in the reserves and earns his way back. This scenario will happen again goibg forward and the club needs to equip itself to deal with it in the future or we will appear small time, weak and vindictive

I guarantee if scores the winner against Liverpool all will be forgiven, if not forgotton.

Trust is slow to earn and quick to lose.

[] NEW: Alexander Isak will only consider reintegrating at Newcastle or signing a new deal if Liverpool directly inform him a deal is impossible this summer.

Isak is waiting to see if Liverpool bid again. The Premier League champions haven't walked away as it stands, but have no plans to place a second offer unless given clear encouragement from Newcastle United.

Personally, I'd rather we got rid. He's taken the piss all Summer-and possibly before that-and it's clear he's being as difficult as possible in refusing to train or play again-that's certainly the angle I'm taking from what Eddie Howe said as well as Luke Edwards' piece about how he's behaved.

So we're basically his last resort.

And sign a new contract?? After the way he's behaved? Cheeky fucker.

Aye, no bid from Liverpool and we are stuck with him till January or next Summer. Reserves it is or my two points above need to be met.

One thing we cannot do is accept a low bid just to get rid. That would be the worst scenario IMO..

Aye, that would be the worst of both worlds.

Liverpool are playing the long game. Ridiculously low bid-insultingly low- in the knowledge it will unsettle him thereby weakening a potential rival (if we'd got our recruitment right this Summer, who knows) and the likelihood of a lower bid being successful next Summer (or even January).

Combine that with their client journalists tweeting about him all Summer and it's clear those rats have a plan.

I want him gone as well but not before hes suffered! like we all have. Would love to see us sign his replacement, a big player, and Wissa, and keep the snake at the club, let him rot,we CANNOT sell him to the scousers, the Saudis i think would never let that happen, they have been insulted and even if the snakes the chairmans favourite player that wouldnt stop them.Ideal scenario is PSG, RM, Bayern come in for him this window and he goes, we get the money, Lipool get nowt and hes out of the premier league.Heres hoping!

I think Liverpool will come back with a bid, that will be accepted. Thats probably also the best solution. Then we can reinvest the money.

However, I woulndt cry my heart out if he stays , and we sign a new no 9 to start ahead of him. He will be a nice option from the bench 😅

I have said this before Liverpool will bid the last day of the transfer window and we will be left with no time to get anyone and be told that the money will be reinvested in the next window until the next window and then somehow it won’t happen
WEAR THE FU-K is the NEW STADIUM WEAR THE FU-K ARE THE NEW PLAYERS when we had millions to spend this summer

Well stadium stuff is moving forward - we've seen that.

New players - we've spent almost ?90 million on two so far (almost 100 million if you count the loan cost for Ramsdale) - we are getting them in, just slower than we as fans want.

We probably shouldn?t panic just yet - last time Liverpool signed our star striker in the last minutes of the window, we only went and signed the legend that is Shefqi Kuqi ⭐️

The stadium and the training ground and academy is a discussion for an another day.

I think Isak will sign a new contract with a release clause and possibly an apology. However it will be a move for him to get away next year. We need to buy his replacement possibly in January when other clubs will be waiting for the summer.

Aye, I imagine if he stays he?ll sign a new contract. It needs to be extended to 5 years if he?s getting a pay rise and a release clause put in there.

But that release clause must be 150m up front.

I don?t think that?s asking a lot when you see some the values they have in Spain etc.

But that?s the trade off I?d be expecting for the offer of a new improved contract.

It's 50/50 for me. I think it's best if he goes. He's acted very poorly - probably on the advice of his agent (who has misguided him). I just don't want to see him in a Liverpool shirt. Hopefully he apologizes, plays well for the season and off to Bayern or Barca next summer so anything over 100m.
