      Bugger - the saga continues..........

I guess they reckon we're pretty desperate (not wrong there!) and will pay over the odds

absolutely Bill, we are being milked for every penny because they know we are desperate.

I mean, our first bid was £25m, got rejected

they rejected a second bid of £35m + £5m in addons, for a 29 year old, in his final year and who

will muss 4-6 weeks due to afcon.

Thats a very generous offer and a huge jump in the finances.

All I hear is Jackson, Jackson, Jackson from the media.

Hes like that fkn Allegro lurking in the background on the Top Gear challenges.

Theres got to be a decent striker available on loan fron a PIF Saudi club we could get in for a season...or Italy. We are going to get stiffed by a PL team either way.

Hate to say it but Isak integrating again if he stays won't be the answer. Couldn't trust him.

I read somewhere that he has 1 year extension option, so basically it is 2 years left in his contract.
Dont know how true is that, but makes more sense. He could save them from relegation too

yeah he does have a 1 year extension option on his contract but they would be mad to exercise that.

He has made it clear he wants out and they allegedly agreed to it but wont allow until they get a replacement.

The way both strikers are behaving is shocking to be honest. If agreements were made, get it in ****ing writing

Well with Spuds losing out on Eze, they are planning to turn to Wissa.

Which means Brentford will hang on hoping for a bidding war between us.

This feels like it's slipping away, despite his protestations he only wants to come here.

Aye, there are elements of a Spurs transfer that might suit him more-he can presumably stay where he's living and he can link up with his former manager (assuming they got on).

He does seem very keen on coming here (and why wouldn't he) but now he's got a choice (if, indded, Spurs are in for him) then he might weigh up his options and re-evaluate.

I think a lot was the plus of CL we could give him to showcase himself. . . but Spuds could do that to.

I guess it?s possible that Spurs might go in for him, if they play him out of his best position, but he?s mostly a striker? and unless they are going to move on Solanke or Richarlison then I?d be surprised if Levy sanctions as move for him.

Part of me thinks this is mostly press speculation with Frank in charge at Spurs these days.

Spurs lose out on Eze, will they be hijacking Wissa?

Brentford aren't selling or he'd be a Newcastle United player already.

If he leaves Brentford he'll be in B&W, regardless of what Spurs do.

                                He's not started today.

                                Maybe a shift in negotiations?

However, I still feel this one is slipping away sadly
