Aye, very much their B team.

And other than than the first 30 mins we didn't bother them.

As Zip said, taht is what being a cartel club allowed to spend gets you.

We could blow them out of the water (well maybe not them but everyone else) if we were allowed to spend based on our owners wealth. . . but we're not.

Aye, apart from the first 20, or so, all our old failings were laid bare.

Didn't lay a glove on them after that.

        Very deflating.

was it because we played badly or was it because they were the far better team - like today winning 4-0 ( and salah missied a penalty

City are among the biggest spender on wages and right up there with the Liverpool.

They have the greatest manager of this generation.

Pep's own comments ?Physicality, pace, the way they play is so difficult,? he said of Newcastle afterwards. ?An incredible, complete team.?

Losing to City is never anything to be ashamed of. The lads are more or less always in the fight.

City didn't even get out of 2nd gear to dominate and thrash the team that spent 442m quid on transfers and have the largest wage bill in world football this season.

They will win the League season beating Arsenal to the punch and they have a chance of doing a treble, which, even for them will seem like an underachievement.

Newcastle United are absolutely not at that level. The club aspires to be there.

I enjoy City winning, good fans and it delights me to hear the red cartel whine.
