Its not often I feel were going to lose a game when were winning at home.
Being outplayed by the mackems at home carries weight - we should be despatching them with relative ease at St James.

We sorely missed having a Tonali or Bruno in midfield. If Willock isnt belting forward then he is poor. Edfie needs to have a big rethink ahead of next season because we have and continue to go backwards.
One or two team ready centre forwards are essential - we could sell Wolt (and Wissa if anyone would have him). I love big Nick but his style doesnt suit. Might be better for him and us to move on.

Spurs 0-1 Forest - anything to make me feel better gratefully received.

For me, this is a full-blown crisis now.
The team is just not improving. There are flashes of what we could be - some of the play in the CL has been excellent.
But in the Prem we so often seem disjointed. Not just lacking proper bite up front. Too often we seem to lack motivation, to be clueless about tactics - passing the balll sideways then eventually backwards. I'm no longer pinning this on a few players "Oh, we'd be fine with a proper striker and a better goalie".
I feel its gone beyond that. And I don't know why. This isn't a sh!te team. It's a decent team that's playing sh!te. I think we are in trouble - and the spotlight has to be on Eddie. I love the guy, and what he has brought to the side. But what's happening now isn't good enough, and I think he's got big problems.

I think the Eddie Out brigade will get traction from this display today, he'll be here till the summer but I wouldn't be surprised if the owners have feelers out for his replacement, but then again we'll maybe win all our remaining games and get into the CL, who knows we always do things the hard way.

Jeez, I so hope that does happen.
But at the moment I don't expect it at all. I know - post-match blues and all that....
But I' see to have been waiting for ages now for the team to "turn a corner" - for it all to come together. I now don't think it's going to happen. As ronandat says "ggod gamme, bad game ,good game, bad game" with no obvious reason, pattern or general uptick.
I really do see a lot of players leaving in the summer and the owners looking at the manager.
To me, one bizarre aspect is the CL. Our standard of play there has generally been very good. And, if players need the lure of CL football to stay with the Toon project - well it was in their own hands. Too often they have been lacklustre. More drive, enthusiasm (and dare I say it "intensity" and this side would definitley be looknig at a CL place next season I reckon.

There is zero chance that that bunch of bottlers will get anywhere near the Champions League.

And not do we deserve to.
