  • Wilson - Wissa

The other rumour I've heard is that Wilson wants Wissa gone.

It's why Wissa has looked so off kilter and not been playing.

No idea why but he wants him gone and has been looking to shift out in the summer window, been making contact with clubs for a move for him.

We're going to have to take a massive hit which'll affect PSR ( in a way I don't understand )

but, as TT says, who doesn't want him gone.

Pound for pound our worst ever signing? Followed closely by Elanga? Buying those two is grounds for dismissal, man.

Sadly it seems that bad injury has ruined him as a striker 3 goals for us in the few starts he has made isnt to bad i suppose but i think for all concerned he has to move on in the summer.

Yeah it's unfortunate that events transpired as they have.

I had high hopes for him and that he'd come in a do a great job for the club in the transition away from dependence on 14.

However, the notion that any club is going get 100% of their transfer business right is laughable. Those fans who want Eddie to be sacked because of the summer business are clueless.

Whilst there isn't equal value to selling Wissa there is still clubs out there that will take a punt on the lad at 25m. 19 no-Pen Premier League goals is no joke.

A newly promoted Championship team would see him as the ideal signing.

I thought I was about to read that extending Wilson would be a better option than paying 55mln for Wissa

There was a lot of bad blood around Isak downing tool towards the end of the season causing a fall out between Wilson and Howe.
Wilson wanted to play, Isak kept letting the team down as he was on his way out after the Cup Final.
              Wilson wanted the move.

Wissa had all the signs of a top quality upgrade. 19 non-pen goals & never injured. It looked like a great signing, if a little expensive.

              Hindsight is 20/20.

Ideal world Wissa would have been fit, banged in goals, Elanga would have laid on 15 assists from Woltemade just like he did Chris 'Dead' Wood last season.

              Sadly, it's not worked out.

I'm optimistic about the summer, I am excited to see who Ross WIlon will bring in. He signed some great players for Forest.

Gibbs-White, Elliot Anderson, Murillo. The Brazilian being the most interesting from overseas.

However, it's a solid resume for a man now at the helm of our transfer business.

Sold Elanga to NUFC for 50m signed for 15. Wilsons work is pretty impressive.

Although I'm massively upset about Elanga and Wissa, I have to agree that no one could've predicted this when we signed them. For all intents and purposes, they were good, well-needed signings, albeit costly.

Anderson is now linked with Man Utd and Man City. We let a stellar player go there.

We've not covered ourselves in glory, there's no getting away from it.

Whatever problems PSR created, we exacerbated them with poor, poor decision-making.

Agree that we couldn't necessarily forsee how poorly most of our signings would either play or fit into the team butwe definitely created our own problems too.
