Good win for th young uns tonight.

Man Utd on form - their coach complained they didn't get a pen (shouldn't have been one), complained our keeper was taking to long to take free kicks and then complained that we got to many decisions

Alongside the U15s this has been a good week or 2 for the young players.

Ferraira Pivas and Neave look very good prospects for the first team.

As a further add on to young uns:

15 year-old striker Theo Benjamin bagged a brace on his U18s debut for Newcastle United earlier on this week.

Theo played the final 20 minutes in a friendly against FC Twente, with Newcastle winning the game 5-2.

The young striker has spent this season with the U16s and has also been at the club for the past two years.

Scoring twice on your U18s debut at just 15 - what a performance.

That is really good and it shows we are putting some effort into the below first team - which is what we need to do but it does seem we are beginning to reap some rewards.

        Agreed.

Neave I'd like to see get some minutes but at the momement it is just to fraught on what we need to risk him.

It would be great to be able to bring some of these guys through in the conference / Europa league

Which seems a pipe dream at the minute.

These kids should be grabbing Gordon and Co round the neck and screaming ?I want my trip to Liechtenstein next season?

Politely and gently stroking the back of their necks obvs, and saying it excitedly as violence is not condoned in any way 😂

Newcastle’s young Mags have just won the U15 Norhalne Cup in Denmark after a 2-0 win over Rangers in the final.

Across their six games in the tournament, they scored 28 and conceded just ONCE.

They have now won 3 trophies in the last 2 monhts.

Great to see this, keep them together and bring that winning mentality up with them.
