I think the issue is, by all accounts they’ve always planned to sell the club for a profit, and reports coming out today seem to stress there is no plan to sell in the short to mid term.

So I guess the question is around how much does building a new stadium add to the value… more seats and more hospitality increases match day revenue which increases the value, but the big added value is a successful team… which will need a stadium built and money coming in to even be able to really start to build with confidence… and then it is still a gamble as there’s 6 other clubs all with the kind of significant income already, and Villa in a similar position to us pushing to get into the CL without the income to really support it.

I think...it's a load of shite.

I was midly interested right up until it mentioned Nunsmoor. Including that shows that someone is just making stuff up and has had a look on Google Earth at some green spaces near the current ground.
