  • Isak's fine

Does anyone know what the craic is?

Will he still be getting paid even though he's not doing the job he's employed to do? If he is getting paid then that will offset any fine he gets meaning (if, say, it was a week's wages) he's effectively just not being paid-which you wouldn't expect to be if you choose not to work.

Surely a fine, which is a punitive measure, should be on top of not getting paid?

Any employment law experts out there?

Came across these briefs; Reports confirm Isak is indeed being fined for skipping training and matches. He's currently training alone and refusing to play, actions that have prompted the club to follow through with disciplinary procedures.

    Let's hope so.

Apparently it's gonna be a club record fine. No idea of the precise number.

It could be his fully weekly wage.

Wonder how long he'll continuing to throw his toys out the pram when he's spending more than he's earning?

Especially as it all seems to be about the money for the lad.

Legally the most he can be fined is 2 weeks wages.

Which would be roughly ?240K, this can happen after each competitive match.

Bravo Bill, always appreciate your humour mate. haha

            likewise.

It appears from the comments from Howe and the players after the match that Isak has a long rough road to travel to get the trust back of the squad, if he says.

              Still no transfer request.

Someone pleeeaase take the shovel off him.

I hope someone comes in other than Liverpool as they cannot afford the fee.

Or perish the thought, he wises up and does his job, at least for a year. It would be a mutually beneficial arrangement, at least for a season.

Given they dont have the fee, I an amazed they haven't bidded the 110 for Gordon and moved Ekitike to number 9. I think the original intention was for HE to replace Jota/Diaz on the left. This would be another solution for them.

Din't want to see this either like.
