From playing exciting, dynamic football, Eddie now has us playing turgid, no-risk shite.

The result wasn't necessarily as important as the performance. I thought we might, you know, end the season by playing some actual fcuking attacking football, give us some hope for next season, show some desire, some commitment.

But no. Obviously that's too much to ask.

Why the hell did he change a line up who played so well last weekend ? oh of course he wanted to shoehorn in his 2 mates Burn and Murphy and mess up the whole balance of the team, Osula was back to the Osula we know and love today the only positive was Botman looked solid and Neave got 15 minutes, We need a new manager to freshen things up new ideas and the deadwood dumped.

Aye, not great to say the least.
An absolute pisser that newly-promoted Sunderland finished 5 points above us.
And that Emery guided Villa to 4th place.......

But something seriously, seriously needs to change for next season.
OK, the team needs a big shake-up. It'll get it.
But I think Eddie needs a long break to think deeply about why this season has been an utter disaster - and I guess there are many reasons, not just a couple. But the big worry is that the latter part of this season has, by and large, rewind and repeat. I don't see any encouraging signs, at the moment, of Eddie re-thinking. Which, for me, he clearly needs to do.

I couldn't get the game but by the sounds of it I'm glad I couldn't. When I saw the starting eleven I could see the writing on the wall, same old same old plus Hall on the right ?
If the club don't spend a gazillion on new rated players it will be the same next season because it will be the same old EH plan, thanks for the memories Eddie but your time is up and I think you know it.
