I can't believe that it took until 2027, for there could possibly be.

      Aye - ****ing horrific.

I would think Cherries have best chance.

It could well be their undoing, same way CL has been ours.

I think they were going have 2nd season syndrome anyway, I think this will make it worse for them.

Im choking on the words here but theyve had a remarkable season. They recruited very well and the psychology of their players has been very good.
When you consider how far they were off automatic promotion last season, the stars have truly aligned for them.

In contrast, Newcastle have often looked like a club relying too heavily on emotion and expectation rather than clear progression. Injuries have played a part and Eddie Howe deserves credit for stabilising the club overall, but there are still questions about recruitment balance, consistency, and whether the team has really evolved tactically over the last 18 months.

Sunderland seems to have built momentum through hunger, structure and togetherness. Newcastle, despite vastly greater resources, have at times looked burdened by expectation and overly dependent on a small core of players performing at their peak every week.

That’s not to say Newcastle are totally failing they’re have been competing at a much higher level, but Sunderland’s season feels like a club outperforming its circumstances, while Newcastle have arguably underperformed theirs.

              That's excellent news.

Wish Eddie knew where his best position was.
