In regards to Pope - apperently we've said willing for him to go, both Leeds and Ipswich want him.

Pope could well be leaving to Leeds or Ipswich.

My close friend Joel is a life long Porto Season ticket holder, in the posh seats, lah de dah!

He said the NUFC execs were Porto last week.

No idea who they are in talks about Diogo Costa or Samu Aghehowa or someone else.

One hell of a coup if NUFC get one or both of those two.

I do agree that Munoz and Stankovic or Lamine Camara in that midfield role would be excellent.

The manage to pull of Z.Yohanna, Said El Mala or Bazoumana Tour? for that RW position.

Throw-in a Josh Acheampong RB & Jorge Salinas LB that's one amazing summer.

On the Yohanna bid, show of intent to outbid Brighton. It's a very similar deal to Minteh, would be great if the club can get him and keep hold of him this time.

However, plenty of other fish in the sea in those wide areas.

Brighton's bid was under ours and Chelsea, wasn't accepted.

When given choice he has supposidly said - or his agent at least - that he doesn't want to come here as it won't support his growth.

Absolute crock o ****e, he'll go Chelski for an extra 50 grand a week, sit on their bench and then be at Strasbourg in a years time.

So Pope to Ipswich looks almost done.

Pope's brother said last week that it was 80% done and to go back to Ipswich is to go home for Pope, born in the area and went through the Ipswich academy.

I didn't know any of that - this one really feels like it has legs.

Also as an interesting, sad, aside fact - Nick Pope was in the same class as Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, who were murdered by Ian Huntley.

We're well past peak-Nick Pope so if he can get a decent move then I'll be grateful for his part in what we've achieved but will be quite glad we've sold him.

No bad feelings towards Pope at all.
Did a good job for us. Not the best all-round keeper, pretty obviously, but a very good shot-stopper.
