Yep, no surprise. Brighton were way down the road with negotiations before the late bids from Chelsea & NUFC.

It's commendable in a way that a young man gave Brighton his word, agreeing terms, before, no doubt Chelsea came in with bigger money, and stuck to it.

Refreshing. Good luck to the lad and Brighton.

It was a very long shot that he was gonna be the Minteh replacement. No doubt Minteh will move on to a bigger club in 1-2 seasons to be replaced by this fella.

I certainly don't see this like some muppets in the fan base spouting all the negative sh!te 'We can't even compete with Brighton'.
