Nuts to think that Diomande is still only 22 yrs old.
Feels like the kid's been around for a decade. We seem to have been linked to him for all 4 of his professional contracted years.
Quality player. 45m Euro. Not mad money.
The Brazilian Viery at 21 yrs old with a value of 20m Euro might offer better value but certainly not the experience.
Really is gonna be interesting to see which way the club goes if they bring in a CB. With Fab Schar signing on for an extra season any young talent coming in will have to fight hard and bide their time before they'd see consistent first team action.
Would be buzzing to see the club sign either.
That being said Viery is a leftie adn Diomande is a Right footer. The logic points to Ousmane being the favoured of the two.
Viery would make sense to sign and loan back to Germio for a season when he would step in as No.2 on the LCB with Dan Burn moving to 3rd choice after one more season of miles on the legs.Comment
