  • Was thinking of Isak

As far as I remember his form dropped over the last few games and he missed some good chances
I was wondering if he missed some of these because if we hadn?t qualified for the champions league it would have been much easier for him to leave in other words was he unlucky or was there some other reason

To be fair, I don't think so - all his natural instincts as well as his ego would be telling him to bury any chance he got.

It's why I have never played walking football - I just know that I would not be able to stop myself running for a 50-50 ball. Even when I am absolutely knackered and on the verge of passing out, I still try sprinting for a ball and only afterwards remember I am too old and also far too out of shape.

The fact is he has always been that kind of person. As a kid he nearly got booted from the academy in Sweden because he wasn't trying. His coaches said try to you're gone.

        However, that apathy clearly remains.

With all the summer business been done + the Woltemade signing. The lad has some catching up to do.

Word in Saudi is Isak will not be sold. A mate was at a wedding in Saudi a few days ago, Yasir was there. He asked Yasir straight up. Yasir said 'Isak not leaving this summer.'

So, the lad has to get his head right. He'll speak to the press in Sweden on international duty after the window has closed and begin the route back to NUFC first team as I stated.

Getting good at this sh!t me hahaha. It won't last. Even a broken clock is right twice day

I've found that sprinting and what my body is trying to claim is a a sprint are no longer the same thing. It used to perform well, I've played in front of a 30k crowd at Stamford Bridge, but then again this was in the days when the pitch was nicknamed the mud, for the 6 inches of mud that normally covered it and when they considered their biggest r?vals to be QPR! (admittedly a school boy exhibition match at half time during a Chelsea QPR midweek derby - a match we had to keep secret from the powers that be at school as those matches in them days could be explosive - this was a long time before Chelsea thought they could be r?vals of Tottenham let alone Arsenal).
This is why I hate being told that we have to respect our place in the pecking order and look up to the "legacy clubs". F?ck off. In my lifetime Newcastle have had more tropies in our cabinet that Liverpool let alone the likes of Chelsea. Football never really was a level playing field, but the Premier League royally screwed up any pretension of fairness

Cups and results break the caste system as city and Chelsea found when cash arrived. The "pecking order" is where the red clubs want us to be.

I'd like the fee to be correct and sell Isak.... but I'd be equally delighted if he was forced to stay and integrate for a year or drop to the reserves or even rot for 3 years.
