  • NUFC Vs Wolves

Will have to check in after full time (I'm in the Lakes). This is actually a must win, given the opposition and our current lack of points.

A goal from our new guy would work wonders.

Wow. Just as I was typing that...awesome, best possible outcome. Lets get 2 or 3 today Nick. Make a statement. Commentators on the radio almost sounded disapointment.

Yes, well take your 125 million and still finish above you.

        Lets go.

That was poor but great result, unbelievable amount of times we give the ball away. We really need to start getting goals from around the pitch.

Lanky Messi got a goal on his debut that?s fantastic, really important to help him settle that.

              Great first half, ****e 2nd.

Really good by Voldemort, great link up with Murphy. Voldy gets a supply from the wings and he'll score plenty.

              Toonali brilliant as ever.

End of the day, 3 points is the main thing.

              On to Barca game.

Tonali definitely MoM, played brilliantly he was all over the pitch, superb display from him.

A brilliant result, if not a quite complete performance.

Our first win of the season in a game where the players could have been distracted by the next match, so well done.

Defensively opened up a bit, but that?s 3 clean sheets in 4 games for us - and that?s with Tino on the wrong side, Botman being eased in and Thiaw being kept out by the Man of Steel.

P.s. that right hand side is Murphy?s to lose, not to win back

Great 3 points, and that’s probably the main thing.

Atmosphere in the ground yesterday was a bit flat really, because we weren’t great and we weren’t poor really.

Good for Woltemade to get off the mark.
Tonali was f**king sublime… yet again.

Bruno looked knackered, don’t know if that was the tackle he took, or if it was just tiredness after travelling to play for Brazil… but it was noticeable after about 60 mins or so… and most of the game he gave the ball away cheaply too.

Generally we gave the ball away cheaply, not just Bruno, and it’s what we saw a lot last season… not even sure what to say on it, other than it needs fixed and it is not a new issue.

Barnes… said this a lot last season… but he’s not a winger, definitely not a left winger. Always wanting to get it on his right foot and cut in… we mostly lose out on getting behind teams down that flank… won’t be surprised if Gordon is straight back in on Thursday.

Joelinton still needs a bit of fitness.

We missed quality off the bench, and think Eddie took too long to bring on fresh legs after Wolves brought them on.. but he kept Bruno on who was clearly the most tired on the pitch.

Good 3 points, hopefully we build from that, Thursday we’ll see everyone leave everything on the pitch for sure… but we have to turn up next Sunday too, that’s going to be down to Eddie to manage.
