  • Out of the blocks

Full speed, and I love it. But if we dont score during the first 20-30 mins, we usually loose the game.

Okay, there might be one or two games during the season that we dont. Or a couple more that we draw, but most games we go out full speed and dont score in the first 30 mins - we loose.

Aye, ther've been quite a few games where we've come out all guns blazing but missed really good chances and paid the price.

Mind, I'd rather that than, say, Rafa's 'stay in the game and don't take risks' approach.

Or Pinocchio Pardew's 'let's take one of the best CM partnerships in the league and reverse their positions, thereby ruining two players at once' tactics.

Haven't we had some iffy managers over the years considering the standing of this club.

Blimey, Pat, we have, like. I was just thinking about exactly that the other day and was torn between Bruce, McClown and Gullit.

And unfortunately there are many, many more to match those.

If we want to be the best or among the best then we must always start at the top

This is the record that spills the beans.

By all means enjoy the text but the telling point is the chart at the bottom.

Scroll down but importantly bear in mind the division the club was in at the time then compare the second last column and the last one to compare the managers.

Aye, I seen to recall Broosie didn't rate Schar and refused to play him.

McClown had the tactics, personality, presence and character of a garden gnome.

                        Quite rude that statement.

An insult to Garden Gnomes surely.
