  • NUFC Vs Bradford

Rushed thread as I'm out, currently.

Let's not fall at the first hurdle in our title defence.

Mind, 'title defence '...sounds good, that. 🙂

Site gone v poor again for me. V V slow. tried to post earlier - no workee.

Interesting line-up. Good to see Six Six Nick rested. But it looks team that might not work together well, at least at first.

Ah, just said that & Big Joe takes the pressure off!

        Very pleased for Osula.

I'd like to see us score a boatload more and then A. Murphy come on in 2nd half.

Good game for the lads so far. Totally dominant, long may it remain so. Good for the confidence.

Ramsdale looks happier on the ball than Pope.

Big Joe gets his 2nd of the night.

                3-0.

Then Andy Cook (Newcastle fan believe it or not) scores a belter for them

                3-1.

Shame we've conceded the clean sheet.

That lad who scored is a Newcastle fan.

That'll do Osula's confidence some good.

                          Excellent performance and result.
Persuaded the wife to watch most of the second half with me after dinner. She really enjoyed it. Thank god it wasn't the Bournemouth match!

That was the best football I've seen in quite a while. No blatant shirt tugging. No falling over when someone comes within 6" of you. No trying to get someone sent off when they barely touched you. Just 2 teams trying to play their best football. A real credit to Bradford.

A great game for us, at this stage of the season. So good to see the team linking up so well in a real-match situation. I was a little surprised that Eddie put Woltemade on for the last 20mins, but it looked like a great move. Six Six Nick looked very good indeed - great awareness and some deft touches - didn't look like a guy with virtually no Prem experience.

I'm liking what I'm seeing - come on Arsenal!

Spurs at home as a 'reward'.

Hey, ho...we had to beat Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Forest last time out, so...
