So Gordon is our penalty taker now well done to him he put those 2 away nicely yesterday. I can?t feel it was a bit of a shame that Woltemade didn?t take them he could have had a hatrick, that would have been big statement I think we missed a trick there.

I felt that maybe Wolte should have taken the second penalty.

However, Wolte is already scoring goals for us - Gordon has struggled with that bit for a while now. And we are going to need goals from all attacking positions this season if we are to mix with the very best in the end. So looking at the 'greater good' I think getting Gordon on the scoresheet twice is a sweet investment for the season ahead.

Heard the guys at Bayern are having their say on the Woltermade transfer.

Sounds very much like sour grapes saying it was stupid to pay what we did.

So far, seems a shrewd investment - although time will tell I suppose

According to "sources" Gordon isn't the official new penalty taker he just took those ones last night.

I think, if you scratch below the surface, youll find Bayern are secretly furious that they let him slip through their fingers.
The very sourest of grapes being served up in Munich this week.

            100% this.

They use their financial advantage all the time and assumed that Stuttgart would fold eventually and then we came in.

Bayern have historically had first dibs on any German talent from the rest of the Bundesliga.

Like the Cartel here in England, Bayern acted just as Liverpool did this summer with Isak. Destabilise a player via their rumour/media shills, then offer the players club an insultingly low offer the selling club has to accept as the player's 'head was turned'.

Despicable bully boy tactics. Unfortunately for the Bavarian BS artist they are no financial match for Premier League teams. They have the same spend power as likes of Fulham, Palace, West Ham etc.

It's not just Stutgart they held to ransom over the summer with their paltry offer to Woltemade. They Lowballed Neverkusen for Wirtz and the binmen swooped in and signed the German dud.

For Bayern, it's not just one but the two best German youth players, who would have always ended up plying their trade at the Allianz Arena.

Times have changed, they are a B-list team and no longer a force outside of Munich.

I'm just enjoying all the salty tears, personally. One of the true Greats of European football are whining about the threat the lads from the river Tyne already pose just 4 yrs into the take over.

Feet up, popcorn, enjoy it lads!
