I don't think Woltemade is the kind of player the binmen would target.

The rat, in a Newcastle United team designed to play to his strengths, performed at levels akin to MBappe & Haaland.

In a team where the star is the RW who scores all the goals and take the pens, a midfield and team that control the ball and build up in a more structured way meatball is proving to be no where near the play he was on Tyneside.

Be careful what you wise for! Grass greener and all that.

Woltemade, I guess would be something of a foil for Salah. However, the Egyptian is on the wain, he'll be gone next season.

Regardless, with the fat stack of dirty bin money Newcastle fleeced the river drinkers of will ensure that no approach for any player going forward will see NUFC selling any of their top talent to any Premier League rivals.

I certainly wouldn't be concerned about this one.

However, it appears that the media machine has turned it's attention to Tonali.

I can see us, in less than two seasons being above Liverpool for several reasons, one of them being financial, with the moods changing and us getting better and better sponsorship deals we will be able to be competitive with the pseudo six wages wise, and won't have to watch on while our expert staff unearth value deals only to see the "phonies" watch us and then jump in with more lucrative wage deals.

Agreed. Particularly with media turning their focus on him.

However, I think he feels quite a deep sense of loyalty to us in the way we supported him as fans and club in that year. In his last interview where they tried to get him to say he wanted to go to Juve he said "it would be an honour to play here but who knows what the future holds, for the next few seasons I'm focused on my club and what we can achieve".

It must have been very frustrating for the journos
