We're gonna sign Bakayoko as well.

I really can't see that happening at all. It would be mental but we do need to get the Scalvini and Trafford signings over the line IMO.

I'd love that to come off but 100% we need the other 3 done first.

Could also be media leaks to shift Forest along.

Baka sounds keen, right age and a good goal to game ratio albeit in a weaker league. Well priced too and if EH likes him then do it

Elanga, like Guehl sick of hearing the names, do the deal or fk off. A generous offer has been put on the table and has not been snapped up, move on.

Elanga joined the filth academy at age 13, ten years ago. So he's 'nation home grown 1 of 4 we need to fill the UEFA quota.

The story seems to make it sound like Bakayoko would be an additional signing to the Sweed not instead of him.

That would be mint both of them

Is it Forest or Elanga holding things up? My reading is both. A red flag IMO.

            Could wrong of course.

From qhat I can gather the situation is around the structure of the transfer fee. When and how add-ons are paid.

Player is out the door, clubs are negotiating respectfully.

              A matter of time

Like you, I'm tired of reading about ELANGA, it's been longer than War & Peace, Newcastle have offered 60 million, how much do Forrest think he's worth???? I'm betting they would have sold him between 35 to 40 million if it were Chelscum knocking on their damn door!

Whatever deals are on the table, and that goes for Trafford as well, FINISH the deals this week, or walk away !!!!

Walk away and then what? You happy to wait weeks and weeks while they start the process off? I have a sneaking suspicion the answer to that is no 😉

I think Howe has said in the past that it is as much about the player as the position, and looking at our team spirit you have to give him a massive amount of credit for what he’s managed to achieve (pun intended)

We’ve gone after other players in multiple windows before and it turned out with Botman and Tonali… we’ve seen the benefit with Tonali and with Botman while he was fit/before his knee injury… and I’m sure we’ll see more from him with a full pre-season under his belt.

So if Eddie, who has already said himself he wants players in quick, is prepared to wait for the right players, then we have to suck it up and wait too.

I trust the club, EH and the process. I also trust that they must have a plan B, C and even D. I'd personally give Trafford and Elanga a week to say yes then hit plan B and be fully transparent about doing so - unless they have an excuse, Elanga I read, has a new agent for example

Hate this himming and haaing. New players in my mind need to be on the training ground at 8am, boots on, warmed from the first day.

55 would get Kudos and if it doesn't it would at least force Spurs to pay the 60 WH want. They rejected a 50m bid. 85m release clause but he hasn't had a great season. 55 is more than I think he is worth TBH. Then theres the ACON issues.

He doesn't want to leave London. Looks like he's going to Spurs. Also as you've said he's off to Afcon.

I don't rate the guy personally. I haven't seen enough of his TBH. Had a great 6 months but hasn't really been consistent. I strikes me as a mental think with him, I don't want to say weakness but not got the bullet-proof mentality we need.
