I feel that but I also wonder if we're using it as a stalking horse to.

Altho would be hilarious if we're both using each other and end up getting to a point where we end up wih him

      I mentioned it somewhere else.

The Joao Pedro money is still available so 60m quid, Ekitike is around 73m quid. If the club can do a deal with Frankfurt to bridge the gap, the deal is more than possible.

Why shouldn't we have two elite strikers? We are gonna compete with clubs like Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona, etc etc who all have an offensive wealth of talent in their squads.

That is what we need to compete. That is what the owners have worked hard to achieve. Tripz, Bruno, Tonali, Gordon, Isak, Botman all Elite signings.

Pope, Burn, Targett, Wood, solid pros brought in to steady the ship and do a job, bred that Premier League quality work ethic and standards.

Hall & Tino, inspired (in retrospect) signings for the future but at the time real head scratchers. These two signings proved inconclusively that the board and owners 100% back Eddie Howe's vision.

We need two like for like quality players in each position. Ekitike can play across the front 3 & No.10/SS roles.

I think it's clear we're building a squad of young, hungry, ambitious, smart players who can play flexible evolving football.

Eddie's a smart manager who wants to evolve the formation and they way the club play. We need various tools and players to adapt tactically to beat a variety of opponents from the European Big boys to the Premier League bus parkers.

Having genuine like to like competition for Isak is absolutely mandatory.
