Id snap their hand off for 500k. He may have been worth 750k at Xmas. On post Xmas form he's worth about fifty quid.

Transfer fees are always inflated in Jan as clubs act more out of desperation, and everyone is under contract.
Coupled with the fact Jatta had quite a poor second half, I?d say ?500k is generous.

If we were to have midfielders who can pass forward with accuracy and defenders who dare approach the halfway line i.e. all playing together and not as if they had only just met we might, just might, be a threat and Jatta could regain his form. This, of course, could only happen if we were to have a manager who knew his business and not an amateur inventing stuff as he went along.

Where did I say he?s a bad player?
I?m saying his form leading up to Jan, and the fact that clubs act more desperately in Jan would be why we?d possibly see bigger offers.
He?s had a good season but 19 goals isn?t setting the league alight at a club that finished in the top 6.
I agree that our style of play was changed after Crowley left and it didn?t suit Jatta. But whoever you blame for that, it showed anyone watching that he?s not the best with his back to goal and is easily dominated by league 2 defenders.
He?s also 26! That?s not old but it?s hitting your peak with not many years left of physical development.
I don?t think he?ll go for ?500k because I don?t think anyone will pay that, but I certainly don?t think he?s a bad player!

Exactly the same site reporting this last year said Langstaff is going to Swansea.

Fee agreed, wages agreed and medical booked.

Sounds like this site is ran by a chancer of course if you make alot of predictions you will be right every so often & its how these sites get followers/clicks.

As for Jatta I don?t us to sell him. He?s good. Yes his form tailed off more than most when the team struggled for form, however he?s scoring a goal every other game for the club. He finished the leagues second top scorer. If he?s not setting the league alight then who is 33 year old Michael Cheek only? In the whole Legaue?

You have to play to his strengths evidently but when we did there was no better forward in the league last season bar loanee Lowe.

If he did leave and it was for ?500K that?s another very tidy profit made and surely a good proportion would be reinvested in a replacement.
