Somebody has to be the favourite at any given time and hopefully Alves' odds will start to drift after today. If they were intent on making him head coach then there'd be no point waiting around.

Wouldn?t be hugely surprised but would be very disappointed if Alves is promoted to head coach. It wouldn?t make sense to me either. If the bro?s wanted the cheap option, surely just sticking with Maynard would have been the way, with Alves stepping up if Maynard sacked during next season. There are 2 or 3 great fits in the betting odds (Buckingham for me) but I think we may see someone from abroad this time around.

I suspect that the relative global insignificance of this particular betting pool? , and the impact of minor activity , would allow even Paddington Bear to enter the contest should I choose to place a ?10 bet .Originally posted by Glad2BeAPie View PostAnd still more pace and football skill than Traore & Morias

After looking at that Wikidepia entry, I can spot a connection that might explain him being in the betting. He played in the Danish Superliga in 2021/2.Last edited by Bohinen; 27-05-2025, 09:30 AM.

This reminds me of the time I made a joke about Robbie Fowler becoming our next manager and it went semi-viral.Originally posted by carnthepies View PostThis is a good demonstration of the numbers involved in the market on something like this. Wiltshire's odds basically seem to have shot up because of the lobbying of one Notts fan on Twitter.
