Very true. One thing you can guarantee is whoever is chosen and accepts the position will disappoint and annoy some fans -
Its a difficult one for LW .He will be financially secure for the next year or so cos of Swansea compo but coming back to Notts will bring with it huge expectations and there is only JJ and MP still there.I am not sure if he is going to take the job.Comment

The defence thing is interesting. We didnÂ’t concede a lot in the promotion campaign, but it was clear we needed strong reinforcements in goal and at the back that didnÂ’t come. TheyÂ’re now here. In other words, all of our best players were attack-minded, so it was logical to go with the free flowing approach even if it did mean some mental scores we may never see again. So IÂ’d expect it to be a little more sensible with a more balanced squad this time around, if he were to come back (which I donÂ’t think he is, as by the looks of it heÂ’d have even less say than before).Comment

Tend to think if LW was set on coming back and the bros are set on him coming back it would have been done by now with him being a free agent and there?s not a lot of if any due diligence needed from either side.Comment

I?m wondering if it is Hojer, if wiki (IF) is correct he signed a contract with Denmark u21s till this summer and their last game in the summer is tomorrow night, plays possession football and might explain the delay.Comment

The tea lady could have got us out of the NL with that team! Why do people prattle on about LW as if he was the messiah? He couldn't sort the defence, he couldn't adjust the play when it was needed (Wrexham x2 at least) and he could only get us squeaking into the EFL by the skin of our teeth. SM slagged off for no plan B yet LW was no better.
