Take away the effectively throw away nature of Kouhyar signing and add another defender, a creative and technical AM and probs another mid and it's looking good. Not as good as it was but nothing like "the house is burning down and all I've got is this bucket of petrol". Nothing's been spent yet.

21 players...we obviously need another keeper to take us to 22. That does not leave much space unless someone leaves. We're all sitting here waiting for a big signing...I'm not sure one will come. There's no room.

The attacking options do concern me a little at this stage. With the current squad, I?d be even more tempted to switch to a back 4 so Jodi and Jarvis can be further up field for creativity. Midfield looking a little bloated. Edwards and/or Hinchy could maybe move on. If it?s a back 4 then Macari/Gordon could hold down the right side but the left really would depend on whether Bedeau or Tsaroulla are seen as good options to the new head coach. If not, a new LB and back up keeper certainly needed. If we go with the 3421 next year, I would be really worried for Jatta up top on his own with no Didzy to get the best out of him. Of course Kouhyar could be a gem.. I doubt it but he could be.
