Wrexham have announced the signing of striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth for an undisclosed fee. I believe this will mean they are looking for a new striker ?

Their Coach walked out on them at the end of the season so, may have lost interest as Tom Cleverly has taken over as CoachOriginally posted by PedroTheFisherman66 View PostWrexham have announced the signing of striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth for an undisclosed fee. Ryan Hardie could be a very good signing for Wrexham. Strange that Rooney didn't give him more game time under his disastrous tenure as Plymouth's boss.Originally posted by PedroTheFisherman66 View PostWrexham have announced the signing of striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth for an undisclosed fee. For me it would depend on the new coach and how we would utilise him. Most know theres a good player there but you have to play to his strengths. If our new coach wont utilise him that way then he might aswell go for 500k..That leaves a tidy profit to reinvest in a new forward.Originally posted by Could'vebeenacontender View PostIt will depend on the size of the offer
I doubt AJ will push for a move

I believe we already refused a much bigger offer than thatOriginally posted by PedroTheFisherman66 View PostFor me it would depend on the new coach and how we would utilise him. Most know theres a good player there but you have to play to his strengths. Was that the January bid from Plymouth? The current rumour is that Bolton/ Doncaster have tabled 500k. I'm not sure how true this is but his value must have dipped due to his record for the jan to end of season stats.?Originally posted by Could'vebeenacontender View PostI believe we already refused a much bigger offer than that

No, they prefer not to argue with refs as it's pointless. They aren't against pointing out refereeing failures mind after they asked why we were the least likely team to foul but the most yellow carded under Williams. They wouldn't sell or get rid just because he got sent off, he was emotional and actually showed he was up for the fightOriginally posted by woodthorpepieeater View PostBy Jatta v Wimbledon? I just sense that they do not like Managers slagging off the ref and maybe that is why the 'management team' saw the exit door. Could be wrong.

Any other game last season I'd agree but this was when behind 1-0 in a play off semi final with a 2nd leg to go without McGoldrick. It was stupid to react as he did and made it impossible to win that 2nd leg!Originally posted by Chicken Balti Pie View PostNo, they prefer not to argue with refs as it's pointless. Not saying it was right, but he'd been fouled all game and the ref gave him zero protection, it can make people lash outOriginally posted by OP67 View PostAny other game last season I'd agree but this was when behind 1-0 in a play off semi final with a 2nd leg to go without McGoldrick. People understandably lash out under provocation, professionals shouldn't. They get paid to stay on the pitch and do their jobOriginally posted by Chicken Balti Pie View PostNot saying it was right, but he'd been fouled all game and the ref gave him zero protection, it can make people lash out

This is right. Should have taken the 700k. Now with a 5 or 6 game ban on his record, he will always be on the receiving end of some unpleasant attention.Originally posted by PedroTheFisherman66 View PostWas that the January bid from Plymouth?
